Revenge of the Snakes
Revenge of the Snakes[]
Deep underground, Skales attempts to rally up the Serpentine into launching an attack on the Ninja, urging that just because the ninja were not currently fighting them now does not mean that things will not change in the future. When other tribes express their reservations against fighting with the ninja, Skales resorts to Plan B and has his fellow Hypnobrai hypnotize the other snakes into doing his bidding.
At the Monastery of Spinjitzu, the Ninja are playing with water guns when suddenly an army of Serpentine bursts through the gates and declare their intention of seeking revenge! Unfortunately for the snakes, they are effortlessly routed by Lloyd and Nya with Cole barricading the gates following their defeat. Wondering how many more snakes could be outside, the ninja climb up to the Monastery's rooftop where they discover to their shock that a massive army of Serpentine had gathered outside with weapons drawn. As the Serpentine begin climbing up the Monastery's walls, attacking from all sides, the ninja are left with no choice but to fight back. As they battle, Lloyd realizes that the snakes are under the effects of Hypnobrai hypnosis, and he declares that they need the anti-venom contained within the Hypnobrai Staff to undo the effects. For now, however, the ninja are overwhelmed by their enemies and are forced to retreat deeper into the Monastery.
As Wu demands to know in confusion as to what is going on outside and is hastily filled in by Jay, Lloyd departs the Monastery in his mech and flies off in search for the Hypnobrai Staff. Fortunately, Lloyd would not have to fly far, for Skales was leading the army of Serpentine from a safe position in the surrounding mountains. Meanwhile, the army of Serpentine have broken through Zane's ice barrier and were now storming the interior of the Monastery, forcing the ninja to desperately fight back against their hordes. Fortunately, Lloyd managed to return in time with the Hypnobrai Staff and the water guns that the ninja had been playing with earlier. As Lloyd hastily filled the guns with the anti-venom from the staff, he explained to the others that they will spray the Serpentine army with the anti-venom to snap them out of their hypnotized states. This plan works and the restored Serpentine are confused as to why they are in the Monastery of Spinjitzu.
After realizing that they had been hypnotized, the Serpentine offer their apologies to the ninja and depart in peace. Elsewhere, Skales attempts to flee but is confronted by the rest of the Serpentine who then banish him for his betrayal.

Trivia[]
- The Anacondrai are depicted as having more living members than just Pythor despite the fact that the comic should take place after the Attack of the Great Devourer, as Skales is leading the Serpentine.
- Additionally, the Serpentine have been reformed since Season 3: Rebooted, especially Skales, making the events of this comic non-canon.
