The Wish Warriors
The Wish Warriors[]
Within the Desert of Doom, the Ninja are in hot pursuit of a gang of criminals fleeing from a robbery. With a burst of Energy, Lloyd near effortlessly destroys the criminals' ATVs, sending them flying into the sand dunes. As the ninja recover the stolen money, Kai taunts the criminals, telling them that they'll let them go easy this time, but next time, the crooks will go to Kryptarium Prison. As the ninja depart, leaving the low level criminals behind, Zane admits that he was impressed that for a gang of first time crooks, they had managed to evade the ninja long enough to reach the Desert of Doom.
Stumbling across the desert, the criminals discover something buried in the sand: the Teapot of Tyrahn. When one of the crooks rubs the teapot, the Djinn Prince Nadakhan is released once more! Grateful for his release, Nadakhan offers three wishes to the one who freed him, to which the crook immediately wished for a room full of cake. Unimpressed by the request, Nadakhan asked the crook if he had any more ambitious ideas, leading for the man to remark bitterly that the ninja had just foiled his gang's robbery. Intrigued, Nadakhan remarked that he too had a score to settle with the ninja and offered to grant the criminals the means of defeating them; they only had to wish for it to happen.
For his first wish, the crook asks for his gang's vehicles to be repaired and upgraded with reinforced weaponry and armor - a wish Nadakhan grants without hesitation. For his second wish, the crook asks for matching outfits for him and his gang, though Nadakhan insists for the man to reconsider. In response, the man decides instead to wish that he and his gang possessed the same Elemental Powers as the ninja - a request immediately fulfilled by the Djinn.
Meanwhile, the ninja have returned Ninjago City and discuss their plans for the day once they return the stolen money to the bank. They are suddenly rammed by the crime gang they had just defeated, much to their surprise. To only further add to the ninja's surprise, the crooks now attacked them with their own elemental powers, something Zane decried as being impossible! With the ninja temporarily defeated, the crooks retrieve their stolen bags of money and take off. Although the ninja are speechless and stunned, they nevertheless vow to defeat the crooks, with Lloyd believing that their powers were nothing more than a trick of some kind.
As the crooks escape, Nadakhan teleports into the passenger seat of the gang leader and reminds him that he has one wish left. The crook dismisses the final wish, remarking that he is not sure yet what he wants and asks Nadakhan why all the rush. In response, the Djinn points out that the ninja have regrouped and were closing in on the gang, conceding that he himself had no desire to fight the ninja again. As the ninja close in, Jay and Kai attack with Lightning and Fire respectively, but fail to inflict any damage against the criminals' reinforced armor. Nevertheless, Jay discovers that the criminals' tires haven't been reinforced and he urges the other ninja to target those instead of the vehicles themselves. As he closes in onto the closest cars, Cole leaps out and slashes the tires, causing the crooks to crash into their compatriots, totaling all of their vehicles.
In desperation, the gang leader abandons his allies to their fate and hastily calls on Nadakhan for his final wish, demanding to go home and become a video game expert instead! Nadakhan however refuses to grant such a wish, slamming it as "ridiculous." As the ninja round up the incapacitated crooks to send them to Kryptarium, the gang leader finally decides on his final wish: he wishes to have never found the Teapot of Tyrahn in the first place! With a final, "Your wish is yours' to keep," Nadakhan vanishes into the sands of time. When the gang leader opens his eyes, he finds himself and his allies back at the moment they were defeated by the ninja in the Desert of Doom. After Kai warns the crooks that they'll go easy on them this time and the ninja depart, the gang leader suggests that he and his allies should instead look for honest work, remarking that it'll likely be much simpler to make a living.
Elsewhere in Ninjago City, Clutch Powers discovers the Teapot of Tyrahn in an abandoned alley as Nadakhan hopes to himself that the next person who finds the Teapot isn't such a buffon...
