Background[]
As a child, Claire was gifted a necklace with an infinity symbol on it by her mother. Later, when she was eight years old, her mother passed away.
Unlike her father, she was very brave and loved ghost stories, as well as the Temple of Airjitzu. She spent a lot of time there, becoming incredibly familar with its layout and secrets. When the Ninja moved in, Lloyd hired her to help take care of it. She has not told anyone about her discoveries in the temple, as she didn't want to scare her anyone, particularly her father.[1]
Way of the Departed[]
Claire drove out towards the temple where she found Zane waiting for her. She asked if he could take her up to do a few sweeps of it. Zane agreed, using his Elemental Dragon to do so. When they landed, Misako greeted her with a hug and the two got to talking.
When the Ninja decided to go out on another expedition to look for Wu, they invited Claire to stay in the temple while they were away. She agreed, and ended up staying in Cole's room.
A few days after, Misako explained some of the chores she needed to fill in on before saying goodbye to her. After Miskao left, Claire felt a presence in Cole's room appear and then disappear, not aware it had been Yang leaving. She gets ready for bed while thinking about her mother.

The polar opposite of her father, she hangs around the Temple all the time, not afraid to do some repairs and whatever else her father is too frightened to do. In fact, she LOVES ghost stories, and in secret she spends as much time as she can investigating the Haunted Temple. She knows every nook and cranny, and has pretty much unraveled all of the mysteries and dark secrets of the temple…but she keeps it to herself because she doesn’t want to scare anybody, especially her father.

- Like Jesper, Claire was introduced in and exclusive to the 70751 Temple of Airjitzu set. Tommy Andreasen wrote their bios.[4]
- She and Misako are the fifth and sixth female characters to appear in a set, after Nya, Skylor, P.I.X.A.L., and Bansha.
- In some 70751 Temple of Airjitzu images, Jay flirts with Claire.
- In the set 70620 Ninjago City, Koko wears the same outfit as Claire, which first appeared in 60082 Dune Buggy Trailer, just with brown pants instead of blue. However, her outfit is exclusively in the set and doesn't appear in the film.
- She likes Shadow-puppet shows, specifically the ones at the temple.[2][3]
- She dislikes cobwebs.[2]
