Gliders

Overview

This article is about one of Jay's inventions. For other uses, see Gliders (disambiguation).
“I once built these wings from scrap metal and other—”

Gliders,[1] also called mechanical wings,[2] are one of Jay's inventions used for gliding long distances without touching the ground, appearing as a set of sail-like wings made of sturdy cloth stretched between several wooden poles and mounted on a person's back. A set of cords on the supporting poles connect to small wooden handles in the user's hands, allowing them to move the wings in flight.

Ronin had his own glider when he chased Kai and Nya.

While operating as a bounty hunter named Rogue, Jay constructed a new prototype model that had retractable wings, with blasters, and featured anti-gravity tech that allows an user to hover over a certain place for a long time. He also built one in a exo-suit armor to allow him to fly. Arin stole one of Rogue's gliders, which he later showed to Sora, who made copies of it for the other ninja. The new gliders were destroyed when the Ninja attempted to stop the Forbidden Five in the Winds of Chaos.
