Lloyd's Escape is a Ninjago comic that was featured in Issue 4 2022 of the LEGO Life Magazine.[3]
Plot
Plot[]
Lloyd has been captured but breaks out with the Vengestone Guards after him. He celebrates once he's out but then hears someone call his name. Suddenly, the scene disappears, revealing that it was all just a dream. Lloyd stares in shock as Harumi mocks him.
Elsewhere, his friends are frantically searching for him underground. A crystal spider spots them and self-destructs in an attempt to bring them down. The explosion misses but caves in their only exit. As the others realize this, Kai promises nothing would stop them until they find their friend.

- The events of the comic take place after "The Council of the Crystal King" and before "A Sinister Shadow."

- In Lloyd's dream, the Vengestone Guards and Harumi appear in their Crystalized forms, yet Lloyd only saw the guards in their non-powered form and Harumi in her quiet one outfit.
- This was done because the two variants did not appear in the Crystalized sets.
- The four ninja are walking in a cave tunnel in the comic, yet at the end of "The Council of the Crystal King", the ninja were at the subway line, and in "The Spider's Design", the ninja were looking for Lloyd at the N line, which means that they couldn't have gone though the tunnels and just followed the subway line.
