Plot

Plot[]

Harumi tells Lloyd how she came back to life. She recaps her life up to the point where she died when the building she was on collapsed. After she died, Harumi met the Crystal King, who has taken the form of a ball of energy. The Crystal King offered to revive Harumi but only if she would become his servant after he revives her, if not, Harumi's only alternative is spending eternity in the Departed Realm.

After deep consideration, she accepts the offer. Harumi is revived and starts following orders from a crystal given to her by the Crystal King. Using the crystal, she frees herself from the building's debris and runs off.

She returns to the Oni Temple and, upon implanting the crystal into the pedestal where the Oni Mask of Hatred once was, the Oni Temple is transformed and the Crystal King reveals his real identity; the Overlord. At first, Harumi is horrified upon learning the identity of the being who revived her, having known what he has previously done to Ninjago. But after the Overlord tells Harumi that the only reason he does what he does is because he believes that destruction comes from the battles between good and evil, but could stop it once and for all by destroying the Balance, letting Ninjago be at peace in the dark as a result. Harumi agrees to serve him and help him build an army made out Vengestone, which would let them have the advantage.

Later on, Harumi began to gather Vengestone by buying it from Vangelis. One day, she went to the Kingdom of Shintaro and learned from Vangelis that the ninja are coming. Harumi believed that the ninja will ruin everything, but the King of Shintaro claims that there's nothing to worry about, and he can take care of things by himself if things go wrong. Moments later, Harumi witnesses the ninja's arrival and hid behind the throne to avoid being caught. After Vangelis was defeated, Harumi hired Miss Demeanor to smuggle the remaining Vengestone for her. One day, she planned on meeting up with her before the ninja arrived and battled Miss Demeanor. While in hiding, Harumi watched the battle and blamed the ninja for interfering.

Harumi reveals to Lloyd that her plan is to destroy the Monastery of Spinjitzu to steal the Golden Weapons. Lloyd reveals that he never stopped loving Harumi even if she did not reciprocate. This catches her off-guard and she angrily asks why he didn't come for her, Lloyd reveals he did.

A flashback reveals Lloyd returned to the building where Harumi perished and tried to find her after he defeated Garmadon in “Green Destiny.”

Lloyd told her that he searched through the rubble with his bare hands, but Harumi tells him that he didn't search long enough, Lloyd manages to steal the key and break free but is stopped by Mister F.

Harumi proceeded to tell Lloyd about the rise of the Crystal King and all of his darkness; after the speech the Overlord evilly laughs inside his crystal.
