Kai's vision is a Ninjago: Dragons Rising comic that was featured in an Issue of the LEGO Magazine.
Plot

As the Ninja trained in the Monastery of Spinjitzu, Kai found himself unable to focus. When asked by the others, Kai admitted that his attention had been focused on these recurring visions he had been experiencing, specifically of a dark presence attacking the Monastery. Before he could get into more detail, the Monastery came under attack by several Wolf Mask Claw Warriors.
After driving back the invaders, Kai experienced yet another vision where the dark presence warned that it would be coming for the ninja. After the vision faded, Kai warned the others that something was coming.

- The comic shows Wolf warriors as an active group, which means that the events of the comic are happening before "Elements of Betrayal". However, it is not possible since it cannot be happening before Season 2 finale due to Kai not being trapped in the Nether-Space and Cole being in the monastery. As such, the comic is considered non-canon. Though it could be possible that they did not disband after the Tournament of the Sources.
