Danger! is the 19th issue of Legacy Edition of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 112019 Jay vs. Nindroid.

The Ninja have succeeded in shutting down all power to New Ninjago City following the destruction of the Storm Farms energy generator. While, the team has since retreated to Ed & Edna's Scrap N Junk to plan their next moves, they now find themselves telling stories of past victories to Ed and Edna.

Elsewhere, in a secret facility hidden in the Sea of Sand, a group of functioning Nindroids make preparations of their own with several vats of Electro-Cobrai. Unfortunately, one drone dropped one such container, triggering a massive explosion that was witnessed by Jay all the way back at the scrapyard. Although the Ninja of Lightning relayed his sighting to his friends, their reactions ranged from dismissive to supportive, though Zane noted that they would need vehicles to travel to the site of the explosion, and his NinjaCopter was still undergoing repair. Fortunately, the ninja were surrounded by plenty of spare pieces to build with, and after assembling some vehicles, they set off in the direction of the explosion, eventually discovering a factory in the Sea of Sand.

As the ninja approached, the Nindroids launched their attack, deploying to intercept in their Dark Mechs. Although one Nindroid was able to destroy Kai and Zane's vehicles, both ninja took advantage of the mech suit's need to recharge to launch a counterattack, shredding it apart with Spinjitzu. While the two of them and Nya fought against the other Dark Mech, Jay and Cole infiltrated the factory. There, Jay fought against the Nindroid Leader who too was piloting a Dark Mech, while Cole commandeered the fourth and final mech suit, using it to shatter the factory's holding tanks of Electro-Cobrai. As the lead Nindroid turned its sights now to Cole, Jay took advantage of this distraction to knock the leader out from its mech suit, taking it for himself. As the factory floods, Cole and Jay escape in their mech suits and fly off to assist their allies who remained locked in combat with the other Dark Mech. Using their commandeered mechs, Cole and Jay easily put a stop to the threat and fly back to destroy the factory to end the threat of the Dark Mechs once and for all.

  • Despite the comic taking place during Rebooted, all ninja wear their Dojo suits, including Nya, who wasn't the Water Ninja at the time. However, there aren't any signs of Nya actually being the Water Ninja in the comic, so it can still be considered canon despite such a weird contradiction.
