Prison Break! is the 15th issue of Legacy edition of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 112215 Cole vs. Ronin (Legacy Cole minifigure with a hammer and Ronin with 2 katanas) and Zane appears on the cover. The comic, Prison Breakers is written by Gary Chudleigh.

While rafting on the river with the Sword of Sanctuary, Ronin gets caught by the Police and is sent to the Kryptarium Prison. After learning about the incident from the news, the ninja go there the to ask Ronin where he hid the sword.
After Noble's refusal due to the fact that last time ninja were here, they started a riot, the ninja decide to break into the prison on their own. After they free Ronin from his cell, Kai lost his temper and struck Ronin, accidentally knocking him into the lever that opened all the cells of the prison. After escaping from angry prisoners, Ninja and Ronin end up in the prison yard. However, Ronin revealed that he had hired a couple of guys to free him just as Nuckal with two Constrictai broke through the prison wall. Although the ninja gain the upper hand in the ensuing battle, Noble and a large force of police officers intervene, allowing for Ronin to escape. As he fled, Ronin retrieved the Sword of the Sanctuary from its hiding place in the bushes and continued his raft to Morro.

- The events of the comic take place during "The Crooked Path".
- For unknown reason, Nya was shown as hologram although she should be with ninja in any matter.
- Sqiffy and Flintlocke are held in prison and planning to revenge to the ninja although events of Skybound didn't even happen yet.
- A Fake anacondrai and a Stone Warrior were shown here although all both should be in the Departed Realm.
Errors[]
- For some reason, one of the Nindroids have yellow arms instead of black.
- One stripe features Chokun with long legs instead of short ones.
- One of the prisoners was Chokun colored in red. Presumably it was Fangpyre, but the members of this tribe do not have short legs.
- Nuckal was shown in his Legacy design, but for some reason without his belt.
