Overview
Fuzz is a tiny jungle insect that resides in the Land of Monsters. He accompanied and gave Kai powers as he lured him to the Queen of Monsters.

At some point, the Queen of Monsters gave birth to Fuzz.
The Forest of Teeth! (flashback)[]
Kai saved Fuzz from a horde of monstrous plants that tried to kill him. However, he soon realized that he cannot defeat all the monsters on his own. Fuzz then offered to help him, but Kai declined his offer, not aware of what the bug could do, Fuzz then connected his antennae to Kai's head, and gave him additional powers and strength, which Kai used to defeat the creatures. The two reunited with Daidan and Kai became confused of Fuzz's cranked up abilities. The three then continued their journey.
The Ruins! (flashback)[]
Fuzz continued traveling with Kai and Daidan until they reached a ruined village. There, Fuzz provided Kai with a powerup to slay the titanic monster pig that resided in the ruins. When a traveler offered to lead Kai to the mountain where Daidan was taken, Fuzz tried to dissuade Kai, insisting that it would be a bad idea. Kai however, refused to back down and ventured onward to the mountain, forcing Fuzz to follow from behind.
Queen of Monsters! (flashback)[]
Fuzz rode on Kai's back as he and Bolsen climbed up towards the cave that served as the lair of the Queen of Monsters. Upon entering the lair, Fuzz happily greeted the Queen as "Mama", leading Kai to realize his mistake in trusting Fuzz. In anger, Kai grabbed Fuzz and hurled him across the cave before fighting against Bolsen, who had fallen under the Queen's enthrall.
When the Queen ordered Bolsen to dispose of Kai, Fuzz reattached himself to the Master of Fire and declared that Kai was his puppet, not the Queen's! With a powerup from Fuzz, Kai was able to easily overwhelm Bolsen, greatly impressing the Queen who agreed then agreed with Fuzz that Kai would serve as her new champion. However, Kai regained control over himself and shook Fuzz off again before slaying the Queen with Bolsen's aid. Having witnessed the death of his mother, when the two travelers glared at him, Fuzz hesitantly claimed that he too had been a servant of his mother's and was now freed from her control before hastily rushing off into the Land of Monsters.
