Kai’s shocking revelations about his time in the Land of Monsters continue. In a deserted village, he comes face to face with a horrifying creature, and while he struggles to protect Daidan, a mysterious stranger comes to his defense.[1]
Plot
Plot[]
In the Monastery of Spinjitzu, Kai looks at his journals from the Land of Monsters while Wyldfyre drinks out of a cup. Kai starts to continue his story when Wyldfyre asks about the monster pig. After bickering over whether Kai should skip to the part with the pig, Kai starts to recount his journey. In the flashback, Fuzz, Daidan, and Kai walk through the Land of Monsters when Kai suddenly starts to cough. Fuzz worries about Kai's injuries when they encounter a destroyed town. Fuzz believes the town is deserted. Suddenly, a monster pig stomps in front of them and squeals. Fuzz asks if Kai needs his help before the latter begins to attack it. Kai accidentally empowers the pig after blasting Fire at it, leading Kai to ask for Fuzz's help. The monster pig approaches the weakened Daidan, and Fuzz jumps on Kai's back to provide power. Kai slashes at the monster pig multiple times, but it smacks Kai with its tail. Its hoof starts to cover Kai when present-day Wyldfyre asks Kai if he died.
As the flashback continues, a mysterious man appears and jumps in front of Kai and Fuzz. He uses his staff to protect them from the monster pig's hoof. He attacks the pig, and he and Kai coordinate their attacks. They both cut off the monster pig's horns, causing it to die. Fuzz jumps off Kai before the latter thanks the mysterious man. Before Kai approaches him, the man shakes his hands, his eyes flash green, and the green markings on his arms disappear. Fuzz hides behind a wall as the mysterious man named Bolsen introduces himself. In the present, Wyldfyre adds how suspicious Fuzz seems. The flashback resumes, and Kai asks Bolsen a question before he sees Daidan get abducted by a swarm of winged monsters. They start flying toward a mountain, and Kai wonders what he can do to save her. Bolsen says he is a bounty hunter and can help them find Daidan. Kai agrees, and Bolsen starts to lead the way. Fuzz tells Kai that he thinks it is a bad idea.
In the present, Wyldfyre confidently says it was definitely a trap. Kai says that it was even worse than that.
