History[]

Just Under the Surface[]

In Lloyd's trial during the Ritual of Unrooting, he popped back out onto the surface after getting to the roots of his powers and he calls out asking what he was supposed to learn from that, Tween Lloyd then makes himself known to Lloyd for the first time and the latter realizes this is the representation of the age he skipped over due to the Tomorrow's Tea and was pleased to finally meet this version of himself and the two shake hands.

The Grand Inquisition[]

Tween Lloyd guides Lloyd through the next part of the trial, the two then start making their way up the Tree of Life when Tween Lloyd asks Lloyd what he thought of his vision to which the latter said he saw a network of roots that were connected and when one needed help the others gave it nutrients, Tween Lloyd then asks him what that told him about the Power of the Green Ninja, when he didn't answer, Tween Lloyd broke the platform Lloyd was on and caught him asking how they got their powers, the latter said it was the Golden Weapons and the other Ninja surrounding him and he felt their energy, he asks what that has to do with his powers when Tween Lloyd drops him and Lloyd falls onto a giant scroll. Lloyd then realizes that power comes from within but not all of it and that some of it comes from his connection to his friends, his family and their community to which Tween Lloyd comes down and explains what that meant, he says that trees are connected, trees are life and that Lloyd is the Master of Life, he then explains that just as he gained his powers through others connection to him, his True Potential can only manifest once he connects to those around him. After this lesson, Lloyd asks Tween Lloyd why the Temple of the Green Ninja showed himself to him as he just accepted the incident with Tomorrow's Tea as another part of his destiny, Tween Lloyd says that the Ritual of Unrooting is about understanding connections to others, that includes other versions of himself; who he was, who he could've been, who he might become and tells Lloyd to remember that for the next part of the test, an archway appears and he tells Lloyd that through there is his greatest foe, an enemy he faced many times and temporarily bested, but never truly defeated, he then says that by defeating this foe, he will be able to connect to the pathways of the Whispering Wood and embrace his power as the legendary Green Ninja. Before Tween Lloyd passes through the archway, Lloyd asks him, despite only being a manifestation, if he is happy in this alternate form of himself, to which Tween Lloyd replies, "You tell me," and walks through the archway.

Trivia[]

• Tween Lloyd has green eyes and brown eyebrows, just like his current self, which started in Season 8: Sons of Garmadon.
• He still has the bowl cut Young Lloyd sported until "Child's Play".
• On his back, he sports the dragon symbol that Lloyd used to use until Day of the Departed.
