In this full episode, Jay, Nya, and Kai discover a new threat while escaping the Administration, while Zane and the others defend the Whispering Wood during Lloyd’s trial.^[1]

Plot[]

The group in the Whispering Wood waits outside the Temple of the Green Ninja, where Arin continues to teach Euphrasia how to do Spinjitzu, showing his tornado as a visual demonstration, allowing Zane to scan it and raise awareness of the red streaks present. Arin shows concern, and Zane tries to reassure him that he wants to continue studying it, only for the Acona to arrive in a panic, needing urgent help.

The group is then led by the Acona back to the Arc Dragon of Life, now under attack by Elemental Monsters. To make matters worse, the Arc Dragon and the Whispering Woods begin to decay.

• The fight that Jay had with Bolobo in "Only One Can Remain" is mentioned in this episode. It also marks the first mention of Bolobo since Season 9: Hunted.
• This episode marks the first time that the topic of Arin's full Spinjitzu tornado has been mentioned, as Zane notices the red streaks that are surrounding the former's tornado.
• Despite having made appearances since "The Merge: Part 1," this marks the first time that the Greenbone Warriors are mentioned by name in Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
• Jay crying over Mr. Slowthers running away is very similar to when he sobbed over Mister Cuddlywomp after being shredded by Cole in "The Attack".

Errors[]

• When talking about Jay's fight with Bolobo, Kai mentions that Jay was in his underpants. However, this is incorrect, as during the fight shown in "Only One Can Remain," Jay was completely nude.
  • It is possible that Jay left this part out when he told the others about it, but kept the fact that he was nude to himself so he did not embarrass himself.
