Throwing stars are basic throwing weapons similar to shurikens used in Ninjago.

A Rocky Start[]

P.I.X.A.L. used throwing stars at the dartboard, opening the passage to the hangar bay.

Under Siege[]

Shortly after Aspheera and the Pyro Vipers stormed the Monastery of Spinjitzu and failed to find Wu and the ninja, Char was standing in front of the dartboard which had throwing stars stuck on it.

After Wu began attack the ninja with the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, demanding that they give him the Traveler's Tea. However, after he gave Lloyd a blow, the latter threw a throwing star at Wu, knocking the scroll out of his hands.

The Kaiju Protocol[]

After the Preeminent was released from the Departed Realm, P.I.X.A.L. used throwing stars at the dartboard to open the hangar bay.

After Cole fainted when reaching Rock-Bottom, Plundar stole a throwing star from him while he was unconscious, but during the Lowly's introduction, he returned it at Fungus' request.

The Son of Lilly[]

The Skull Sorcerer got ready to knock Cole of the rock ledge he was hanging on - after the latter was blasted by Grief-Bringer's powers - but Cole threw a throwing star at the Skull Sorcerer, thus knocking him back and allowing the former to pull himself up and continue the battle.
