While arriving in Imperium to help his fellow ninja in the battle against the Loyalists and the Elemental Monsters, Riyu had his sword sheathed by the waist.

Birthright[]

Riyu wielded his sword while battling two Mutation Monsters but was disarmed mid-battle. It would later be given back to him by Cole after helping his teammate defeat the Elemental Monsters. Later Riyu used his sword to knock Beatrix away when she tried to retake the Weapon of Desolation from Arin.
