Weapon of Desolation

Overview

“As most of you know, this is the fabled Weapon of Desolation, the item responsible for the deluge of out of control Elemental Monsters plaguing the Merged Lands. Control of this weapon means control of these deadly beings. It gives one the ability to create and lead an army of untold power.”

The Weapon of Desolation is a powerful and dangerous scepter capable of affecting, damaging, and manipulating Elemental Powers.

Many years ago, it was discarded and split into two fragments through a spell created by the First Spinjitzu Master with the intention of preventing its power from being used. These fragments were hidden by him in different locations: one within the Tree of Burdens and another within the Tree of Madness.

Centuries later, the Loyalists used this same spell to reforge the weapon and create the Elemental Monsters. These beings were then used as a military force to help Beatrix Vespasian-Orus reclaim control of the City of Imperium.

History

History[]

Background[]

The Weapon of Desolation was created long ago for reasons unknown, tied to the very creation of the realms.[1] It was later divided into two parts by the First Spinjitzu Master, who used an incantation he inscribed on a tablet. He concealed the two halves in distinct locations: the yellow fragment in the Tree of Madness in the Realm of Madness, and the pink fragment in the Tree of Burdens in Umbrasilvis.[2]

Many millennia later, Dr. LaRow would eventually learn about the Weapon of Desolation and retrieved the tablet from an unknown realm following Beatrix's defeat. The withdrawal of half the Source Dragons from the Council of Sources caused the two fragments of the Weapon of Desolation to create Elemental Monsters throughout the Merged Lands.[2]

During the meeting with the Loyalists, the Chief Loyalist presented a hologram of the Weapon of Desolation, elucidating its connection to the Elemental Monsters. She explained that these creatures emerged from the imbalance of Source Energy associated with the weapon. Subsequently, she urged them to locate the weapon to uncover the true origins of the Elemental Monsters.
