After hearing the Arc Dragon of Life motivate him to remember his true power, Lloyd sends out a burst of Life energy, allowing Nya, Kai, Jay, and Zane to have Draconus Forms too, which they use to combat the Elemental Monsters, with Wyldfyre being jealous of Kai specifically. Lloyd manages to knock the Weapon of Desolation out of Beatrix's possession, and Cole warns Euphrasia that it makes Elemental Powers go haywire, leading her to send it to Arin. Cole de-transforms from his empowered Golem form and tells Arin that the word "Bah-vaugnat" had to be said in reverse. When Cole correctly guesses it as "Tangauv-Hab", Arin repeats it, turning all of the Elemental Monsters into their energy states and sucking them into the Weapon of Desolation. This allows the Arc Dragon of Life to regain its strength and color, using its Life medallion to heal the Whispering Wood and the Acona back to full strength, declaring that "the Legendary Green Ninja has succeeded".

The ninja regroup officially for the first time in years before Lloyd explains his True Potential and that Kai, Jay, Zane, and Nya becoming dragons was unexpected. The reunion is eventually interrupted by straggling Loyalists, which they all move to detain, safe for two: Sora's parents, who ditch their outfits. While Beatrix is locked away with a medical team, Lloyd, Arin, Sora, and Percival interrogate LaRow on how Beatrix found out about the Weapon of Desolation before she becomes appalled that the latter took credit. She then explains she found out about the weapon during her time in a place that can never be found again, nor knows its name.

  • This episode marks the first time Jay has said Lloyd's name in Ninjago: Dragons Rising, and the first time in an episode since "Roots", exactly 70 episodes before this one.
  • As of this episode, all of the original ninja (except for Cole) have taken on the Draconus Form.
    • Cole can be seen in his Draconus Suit during the end of the episode, implying that he took on the Draconus Form offscreen.
      • The Draconus Suit is the first suit all the original 6 pre-Merge ninja share on-screen since their Core gi.
        • Zane's stance when he get his Draconus Form seems to resemble the Swooping Crane pose.
        • Only Lloyd has all the lighter coloured parts of his Draconus Form light up. For everyone else, it's just the lights on the claws.
  • This episode marks the first time that the Shadow Dojo has appeared in the present day since "The Shape of Motion". It also marks the first appearance of the Gong of Shattering since "The Final Game".
  • Jay and Cole remember the noodle-shaped crack in the Monastery wall that they made, first seen in the flashback scene in "Fugitives From Madness".
  • This episode marks the first time all 6 original ninja, P.I.X.A.L., and all of the new ninja are in the Monastery together.
    • It is also the first time where all of the ninja are reunited in the same place.
  • Jay returns the hug Cole offered him in "The Shatter Dragon".
    • Coincidentally, both episodes were the respective endings for Part 1 of Season 3 and Season 4.
  • This episode marks the return of Sora's parents, appearing in the ending of the Battle of Imperium and avoiding being arrested, having been last seen in "The Power Within".
  • Jay fully and officially rejoins the ninja by the end of the episode. It is unknown if the rest of his memories have been restored.
    • He is also the last of the pre-Merge ninja to still be missing his S11-onwards weapon, the golden kusarigama. Given how Agent Blake Donovan hid his Core gi in a suitcase in the ground around the spot where he and some Administration Agents found Jay after he had his memories suppressed, it's possible that the weapon is still in The Administration itself.
    • It's also unclear if he can do Spinjitzu again now that he has some of his memories back, but as of right now he is the only one of the original six Ninja to not use Spinjitzu.
  • Ras makes his only on-screen appearance for this half of Season 4 in this episode, and in possession of another Source Dragon Icon, taking on the form of a bow.
    • It's possible that the bow is the Icon of the Source Dragon of Focus, as Focus is responsible for the Elemental Power of Ice, which Zane is the current Elemental Master of, and he used a bow throughout the Oni and Dragon trilogy.

Errors[]

  • In the scene of the Draconus Ninja fighting the Elemental Monsters, Jay has Nya's sound bytes when he is grunting while fighting a Mutation Monster.
  • When Jay is powering up into his Draconus Form, he has his short hair despite the episode implying he cut off his ponytail in the epilogue time jump.
  • Ras is not listed in the credits, despite him making a minor appearance in the ending of the episode.
