After Powerlid was defeated by Lloyd, Frak, and Sora, Rogue swooped in and stole the chalice from a pile of treasures collected by Powerlid, flying off with the chalice in hand.

Arriving at Fedulian's antiques shop, All-Realm Antiques Emporium, Jay gave him the chalice before Fedulian gave him his payment and a meeting place to meet with Zeatrix.
