The Prototype X-1 is a large red roadster used by Kai during the Nindroid crisis.

History

Codename: Arcturus[]

Kai followed the Nindroids on the Prototype X-1, however, due to his reckless behavior, P.I.X.A.L. took control. Later, when Kai accidentally ignited a gas truck, P.I.X.A.L. tried to save him using the Prototype X-1, but then Min-Droid shot the engine.

Kingdom Come[]

The Prototype X-1 eventually found its way into Dareth's hands, though the Brown Ninja crashed it into a cement truck.

Gold Rush[]

Kai and Nya rode the Prototype X-1 to Borg Tower to get the Idol of Unity to a beacon on the tower in order to defeat the Shadow Banshees. After defeating the Banshees, they departed in the X-1.

The interceptor bike^[1] is a small two-wheeled bike that serves as the cockpit for the Prototype X-1.

The Prototype X-1 has boosters, allowing for faster travel, and contains a motorbike. Additionally, it can be controlled by P.I.X.A.L. and has a radio for communication.

Watch out as the Nindroid Warriors use a backpack jet to fly into attack mode! You must save NINJAGO® City and then display the limited-edition golden Cole Legacy minifigure to celebrate 10 years of LEGO® NINJAGO sets.^[3]

According to Secret World of the Ninja, the Prototype X-1 is a prototype version of the X-1 Ninja Charger.
The Prototype X-1 is the only vehicle to have more appearances in set form than in any canon media.
The Prototype X-1 makes an appearance in The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame's Downtown level.
The Prototype X-1 is the first and only Ninjago vehicle to have two full Legacy sets made, not including polybags or 4+ sets.
