Go!

It's time for training and we're getting started - it's on, you know
And we wanna see you whip and shout it - we rock, you roll
They say, go slow
And everything just stands so still
We say, go go!
We're ready for the fight, we know the drill

Monday morning and we feel defeated, seems so long ago
Tuesday's comin' we just keep on beatin'
'Till we're in our zone
They say, go slow
And everything just stands so still
We say, go go!
You're gonna see us rip into it

We just jump up kick back whip around and spin
And then we jump back, do it again
Ninja! Go! Ninja! Go!
Come on, come on - we're gonna do it again
We just jump up kick back whip around and spin
And then we jump back, do it again
Ninja! Go! Ninja! Go!
Come on, come on - and do the Weekend Whip

Wednesday mornin' and we soon discover we gotta push our game
We slept through Thursday just to get it over
The whip's a day away!
They say, go slow!
And everything just stands so still
We say, go go!
You're gonna see us rip into it

We just jump up kick back whip around and spin
And then we jump back, do it again
Ninja! Go! Ninja! Go!
Come on, come on - we're gonna do it again
We just jump up kick back whip around and spin
And then we jump back, do it again
Ninja! Go! Ninja! Go!
Come on, come on - and do the Weekend Whip
Yeah! Yeah!

They say, no no! but we don't wanna sit around no more
We say, go go!
You're gonna see us rip into it

We just jump up kick back whip around and spin
And then we jump back, do it again
(And then we jump back do it again)
Ninja! Go! Ninja! Go!
Come on, come on - we're gonna do it again
We just jump up kick back whip around and spin
And then we jump back, do it again
Ninja! Go! Ninja! Go!
Come on, come on - and do the Weekend Whip

Ninja! Go! Ninja! Go!
Come on, come on - and do the Weekend Whip
(Jump up kick back whip around and spin)

Appearances (music video)
Trivia

Trivia[]

  • The music video of this remix marks the first appearance of several characters in the Dragons Rising animation style, those being Misako, Pythor, Aspheera, Garmadon, Nelson, Postman, Skylor, Wu's chicken, MiniPix Seven and the Golden Ultra Dragon.
    • It is also the first appearance of Lightning and Creation Spinjitzu in this animation style. Whilst Creation Spinjitzu doesn't look too different, Lightning Spinjitzu now has yellow, and it is now a darker blue, most likely to differentiate it from Water Spinjitzu. It's possible the lighting affected how the colours were percieved.
      • However, an alternate model for the Lightning Spinjitzu had previously appeared in "Ninjago - Dream Team".
  • The music video features slightly redesigned models for some characters:
    • Wyldfyre's Season 1's appearances now has her set and ninja suit model's face.
    • Pythor's model now has flatter scales, the return of his eyeliners (albeit black instead of purple and with a slightly different design), and a more detailed mouth, similar to his appearance in Masters of Spinjtzu.
    • The Postman has printing on his legs and his lenses are now transparent.
    • Skylor's breast lines were removed.
    • Misako's shirt now has higher detail and different crease lines for her scarf and pockets. Her silver hair streak is also more subtle.

The opening sequence referenced in the music video

  • The music video marks the first appearance of Riyu's Dragons Rising Season 4 design, and the Legacy versions of Lloyd's Titan Mech and the Prototype X-1 in animation.
  • Cole's Elemental Earth Mech is seen doing a dab pose.
  • Sora's Elemental Tech Mech is the only one of the three Elemental Mechs from Dragons Rising that did not make an appearance in the video.
  • The way the Ninja and Master Wu pose in the scene is reminiscent of the iconic shot in the intros of Seasons one and two of the original series.
    • The visual of Kai using his Elemental Power of Fire in the beginning is reminiscent of how those intros started with him as the first character.
  • This is the first, and currently, the only version that has the voice actors sing the iconic theme song instead of The Fold.
  • This music video has marked the fifth time the Ninja have sung the Weekend Whip. The first time was in "The Royal Blacksmiths" during the singing competition, the second time was in "True Potential" when they celebrated their supposed victory over Harumi and the Sons of Garmadon, the third time was in "The Weekend Drill" when Cole was singing it while dealing with the prisoners in Kryptarium Prison, and the fourth time was when Kai sang it in "Master Class".
  • The cast recorded the song on August 7, 2025.[1]
  • The shot of the Ninja confronting Garmadon, Pythor, and Aspheera focuses on the original four Ninja first, and then leads onto Lloyd and Nya.
    • Said villains could represent different eras of Ninjago's past: Pythor for the first seven seasons (as he has a reiteration of his Season 4 appearance), Garmadon for the Oni Trilogy (as he has his Season 8 appearance), and Aspheera for the seasons animated by WildBrain (as she appeared in Seasons 11 and 15, which are the beginning and end of the aforementioned era).
