The electro-barrier, also known as the energy barrier, is a technological dome that serves to protect the City of Imperium from outside threats. It was formerly powered by dragon energy until the Liberation of Imperium, and it is currently struggling to function due to the city's energy shortage after ceasing to harness dragon's energy.
