Snakes on a Train!

Snakes on a Train![]

One night after Morro's capture of the Realm Crystal, a train transporting goods chugs along its way beneath the stars. As the engineers gaze out and above the stars, one bemoans the fact that he could've been hanging out with friends this Friday evening instead of working. At that moment, a Viper Flyer attacks the train from the front car, declaring that the train's occupants would now face a change in their plans. As the male engineer flees deeper into the train, the Viper Flyer orders the woman to change the train's course to the right, revealing that they have come for the Vengestone stored in the train's cargo. Elsewhere, the man desperately calls the police for aid.

Elsewhere, the Ninja are spending their Friday evening at Steep Wisdom, sipping tea while working on their chores. As they work, Jay complains that he is bored and Kai quickly agrees with him. Although Misako suggested that they could make a game out of the chores to alleviate some of their boredom, Jay shuts down her suggestion as not being fun at all. At that moment, Wu rushed into the room to inform the ninja of a call he had received from the police about a train hijacking in progress. Sitting up in their chairs, the ninja excitedly head out to confront the reptilian invaders.

Sometime later, the ninja are able to catch up with the train onboard Destiny's Bounty, but are confronted by a pair of Cobra Mechanics. Following P.I.X.A.L.'s suggestion however, the ninja are able to evade their enemies' fire and leap onboard the speeding train! After entering the cargo hold, the ninja encounter the male engineer and ask him about the hijacking in progress. Visibly shaken and distressed, the man exclaims that there were at least seven or eight hostiles onboard and that he overheard them talking about the Vengestone that was being transported onboard. The man's words trailed off, however, when he caught a glimpse of Cole's pale form and realized that he was a ghost. In spite of Cole's assurances that he was a nice ghost, the engineer fainted from fright and Lloyd ordered Cole to bring the man aboard the Bounty for his safety.

After securing the engineer, the ninja continue their way through the train, being confronted by a large force of Snake warriors in the cargo hold. Undeterred by their foes, the ninja proclaim that the snakes will feel the wrath of their Elemental Powers, only to discover to their dismay that the cargo hold's crates were full of elemental power dampening Vengestone! Without powers, P.I.X.A.L. smashed open one of the nearby crates and suggested that they could all use the skateboards housed inside as improvised weaponry instead. Unimpressed with the ninja's skateboards, the Snake warriors attack but are swiftly defeated. With their foes downed, the ninja now make their way to the driver's car where they confront the lead Viper Flyer. Surprised by the ninja's presence, the Viper Flyer nevertheless refuses to back down and activates the flying mechanisms installed on the train's exterior by the two Cobra Mechanics, taking the train off the rails and into the skies!

As the ninja struggle to hang on as they are thrown backwards from the force of the train's sudden ascent, P.I.X.A.L. asks for Jay to throw her at the Viper Flyer, stating that she could hack the snake's device if she was close enough. Heeding her suggestion, Jay used his arms to give P.I.X.A.L. a boost forward and she was able to successfully snatch the Viper Flyer's controls before setting the train back towards the ground. With the train now secure and the Snake Warriors all but defeated, the ninja reflect on their adventure and admit that maybe housekeeping at Steep Wisdom was not so bad after all!
