The Golden Ninja, also known as the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master, is a legendary hero stated to be the most powerful ninja destined to defeat the Overlord, the source of Ninjago's evil.

Hailed as the Green Ninja of prophecy, Lloyd became the Golden Ninja during the Final Battle between good and evil. After the battle, however, Lloyd would lose his status as the Golden Ninja after a portion of his Golden Power were stolen by the Digital Overlord; He would give the remainder of it to Kai, Cole, Zane, and Jay to enhance their respective Elemental Powers.

Rise of the Spinjitzu Master[]

Lloyd becomes the Golden Ninja, and fights the Overlord, in a battle that almost destroys Ninjago City. Using the power of the Golden Dragon, Lloyd summons the power necessary to defeat the dark lord, freeing Ninjago from his control and curing Garmadon of his evil.

After the Final Battle[]

Lloyd powered up into his golden gi while stopping the Venomari from burning down a village.^[1]

The Surge[]

Before the ninja got cornered and beaten by the Security Mechs, Lloyd (still in his golden form) powers down the mechs. The Digital Overlord then comes in and confronts Lloyd saying he doesn't want to fight but wants his power.

The Art of the Silent Fist[]

Lloyd wears his golden gi before donning a green Techno outfit to lay low.

According to Chris "Doc" Wyatt, Lloyd's Ultimate Spinjitzu Master form is more powerful than his powers granted to him as a Source Dragon conduit.^[2]
In his set form, he has a golden head while he has a normal face in the series. This also applies for the Legacy version of him.
- Nevertheless, he has in 71742 Overlord Dragon his normal head.
- He seems to have a yellow head with his golden head's eyebrows on the cover for Destiny of Doom.
Despite saying "I don't need a sword" when facing the Overlord in "Rise of the Spinjitzu Master", Lloyd wields a sword in every set in which he appears in his golden form.
Lloyd's Golden Ninja form appears in The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame as the last character the player unlocks. He is unlocked by achieving all 220 gold bricks.
