Synopsis
Synopsis[]
As the mural at the Monastery of Spinjitzu progresses, Jay relives good old memories of fighting off the ninja’s old enemy, Pythor P. Chumsworth and his Venomari henchmen. Ah, that was one epic truck/Storm Fighter jet chase that was sure to go down in NINJAGO® history! Jay also discovers a new skill he should probably work on…[1]
Plot
Plot[]
Jay stares at the new mural on the wall of the Monastery of Spinjitzu and remembers using his jet. He recalls preventing Pythor from stealing some of the noodle trucks, and by the time he awakens from his daydream, it is nighttime.

Trivia
Trivia[]
- The Legacy set appearing in this episode is 70668 Jay's Storm Fighter.
- While Nya appears in the set, she is absent in this episode.
- One of the comics sold at Ninjago Doomsday Comix is called "Blue Lightning," though this is likely a coincidence.
- The "Wilhelm scream" sound effect is heard toward the end of the episode when Jay knocked off the truck Lasha.
- This marks the twelfth time the Wilhelm scream sound effect is used after "Home," "The Rise of the Great Devourer," "The Last Hope," "Rise of the Spinjitzu Master," "The Art of the Silent Fist," "The Greatest Fear of All," "Operation Heavy Metal: Buffmillion," "Operation Heavy Metal: Blunck," "A Line in the Sand," and "Out of the Fire and Into the Boiling Sea," and "The Weekend Drill."
- Interestingly, an unknown Serpentine from "The Rise of the Great Devourer" also lets out the scream after being knocked out of the Serpentine Express by Jay.
- It is possible that the events of the flashback in this episode are meant to happen right after the Storm Glider with Jay flew away at the very beginning of the flashback in the previous mini-movie, "Elemental Rider."
Continuity[]
- This is the first appearance of Jay's Storm Glider and Pythor in his original purple form since "Day of the Great Devourer."
- This is also the first time Pythor appears in the show since "Day of the Departed" and overall since Pythor's Revenge.
- Pythor's appearance in this episode is different from his original appearance. In addition to his Legacy look, he no longer has scales and has smaller red eyes instead of larger pink ones.
Errors[]
- When Wu communicates with Jay via a computer, the gate of the monastery is visible behind Wu, although by the time Pythor and the Venomari were released from their respective tombs, the monastery was already burned down.
- It is possible that only Jay remembered it that way, since the flashback is just his memory.
