Department of Vacation Simulation

“Administration employees earn vacation days but aren't actually allowed to go anywhere. So we... I mean, they go up and sit in vacation simulator chairs. It tricks your brain into thinking you're at the beach, the mountains, an amusement park, whatever.”

— Jay explaining the Department of Vacation Simulation to Kai and Nya, "A Wonder of the Merged Lands"

The Department of Vacation Simulation is a department in the Administration where the agents visit in order to go on simulated vacations via simulator chairs, which are also capable of blocking memories.

Background[]

After Jay attempted to escape the gladiator pit in the Land of Madness, Blake Donovan brought him to the Department of Vacation Simulation, where his memories were blocked by the machine.

A Wonder of the Merged Lands[]

The ninja and Jay hid in the Department of Vacation Simulation as the Robo Eliminators arrived, searching for them. Thankfully, they were able to trap them in machine, sending them to "fake-cation". Then Nya checked one of the machines, realizing that Donovan is right and these machines could be used to block memories. Jay asked if she could reverse it, which said maybe. As Jay was going to put the headset, Nya warned him, saying that it could damage his brain, making it impossible to form new memories. Despite the ninja's warnings, Jay took the risk and put the headset. As Nya reserved the machine, Jay started remembering his memories, even though it was painful. After Jay remembered most of his memories, Nya and Kai tried to be sure that he is with them. Thankfully, Jay hold Nya's hands and the two started kissing each other, much to Kai's annoyance.

Just Under the Surface[]

After kissing for a long time, Jay and Nya stop. Nya asked if Jay remembers everything yet, which Jay encountered by saying not everything and he is getting more and more memories. Kai tried to remind him some of his adventures, much to Jay not remembering it. As they were talking about who could have erased his memories, Jay had a breakdown, remembering the time his Mr. Slowthers ran away. Nya tried to comfort him by saying she is sure Mr. Slowthers found a new place, but they need to get out of here. Then they left the Department of Vacation.

Tonight We Hunt Monsters[]

After looking at the coordinate Donovan gave them, Nya said it's for the Department of Vacation Simulation. Kai questioned why a Vacation department would have anything to do with Jay's memories, which Nya responded by saying they got some brain-accessing tech in there.
