Biography

Biography[]

(From Lego.com)

Strainor is nervous and scared all the time. His major responsibility as a Saber Tooth warrior is to hold Sykor's leash, and since Sykor is constantly dragging him this way and that, it’s not an easy life. Strainor is basically allergic to pain and will fight hard in battle just to avoid being hurt. The other Saber Tooths know how nervous he is and like to play practical jokes, like making sudden, loud noises just to make him jump. Given that he spends all day trying to keep control of a crazed Saber Tooth, Strainor doesn’t really need help being afraid.

History

History[]

Fire Dreaming[]

After 1,000 years of being frozen in ice, Strainor was released from his icy prison in the Gorge of Eternal Depth when Sir Fangar threw orbs of Chi that awakened the hunters. During this time, he was forced to hold Sykor's leash while the hunters froze the crawlers. Just before leaving, Sykor ate a sock that fallen down some months earlier. Strainor later followed the hunters to surface of Chima with their new vehicles, the Saber-Tooth Walker, Saber-Tooth Tank, Mammoth Stomper, and Ice Glider.

Attack of the Ice Clan[]

As the hunters moved through Chima, freezing everything in their path, they came across the Crocodile Swamp and froze all of the Crocodiles, except for Cragger, Crug and Crooler, who escaped to tell the Lions. Afterwords the Lions took an army of warriors from the Wolf, Rhino, Gorilla and Eagle Tribes to teach the hunters a lesson. However, upon learning that pulse beams are useless against them, the warriors charged but soon began to slip on the ice. As the battle progressed, warriors from LaGravis' army were frozen by the hunters. When Stealthor shot an ice beam at Leonidas and later pushed his block into a collection of other frozen warriors, Strainor and the other hunters laughed at the warriors in their predicament. LaGravis, seeing this, plugged in an orb of Chi and charged at the Ice Hunters. After seeing LaGravis break out of his icy prison in an instant, Sir Fangar ordered Strainor to unleash Sykor on the Lion King. Strainor let Sykor go and he pounced on LaGravis, nailing him to the ground. LaGravis, however, kicked Sykor of him and gave Laval an orb of Chi, which Laval used to be immune to the hunters' ice beams. After kicking Sirox, Laval slided and grabed a Sonic Roarox, which Strainor taunted him saying "Pulsorz... Again? Oh Please. That does nothing to us." Laval, however shot the blaster at the treetops, freeing the frozen Gorillas, who promptly fell on Strainor. Strainor later bore witness to see Sir Fangar Chi-up and pointed out the fact that they are stuck thanks to a wall of frozen pulse beams.

The Call of Cavora[]

Strainor and the hunters continued to freeze Chima until arriving in the canyon area were the tribes, using rocks instead of pulse beams, ambushed the hunters and damaged most of their vehicles. Seeing this, Sykor pulled Strainor who remarked "The Rocks are Falling! The Rocks are Falling!". Sir Fangar, however, was not impressed and ordered his Vulture Gliders and Mammoth Flyers to freeze the Heroes' vehicles. Strainor later witnessed Sir Fangar get punched and sent flying thanks to Gorzan being un-frozen and participated in a chase through the Falling Jungle.
