Balancing Act

Balancing Act is the twelfth episode of the first season of Legends of Chima.

Plot

Plot[]

At the Lion Temple, the Eagles have arrived to supply the tribes with their CHI for the week, Laval thanks Eris for coming to help in the delivery and so in their Interceptor Jets, Laval, Eris and the Eagles deliver the CHI to the Ravens and the Beavers, but as they are making their way to the next tribe, they are caught in wind storm which formed thanks to the Wolves stealing the CHI and causing Chima to go out of Balance, Eris is able to control her jet for sometime but she and Laval end up at the Fangs, they crash land onto one of the Fang rocks and find themselves dangling on the edge of the Gorge of Eternal Depth. Meanwhile, Crooler at the Crocodile Swamp is busy trying to grow new Persuader Plants so she can control her brother more but she gets impatient and just plucks the three smaller flowers out of the dirt, she then returns to the Fortress and tries to enter palace when she is stopped by Crawley and Crug, they tell her that she isn't allowed in per Cragger's orders but she says that she has some new plants for him to see, Crug then eats one thinking she brought them for them to eat, Crawley then takes the basket she was carrying but still deny her access to the palace, when she asks how they will keep her out, they throw her back out of the Fortress into the dirt.

At the Fangs, Laval is still holding on by the rope as the jet is dangling off of the Gorge of Eternal Depth, he is able to pull himself up but tries to go back for the CHI as he doesn't want anymore CHI to fall into gorge since it caused them nothing but trouble last time, so he and Eris try to tilt the bag of CHI towards them without tipping themselves or the CHI into the gorge, they manage to keep the jet perfectly balanced but run into a problem as the bag as fallen onto the cliff face of the gorge, knowing they can't do much by themselves Laval sends out a Lion roar to the Gorillas, Gorzan hears and sets out in his Gorilla Striker to the Fangs to help Laval and Eris. Crooler then arrives at the Wolf Camp where she explains her situation to Worriz but as she tries to convince them for help, Windra and Winzar throw her out of the Wolf Village not wanting her company, but before she leaves, she spots the Wolves' CHI and plots to steal it. Gorzan then arrives at the Fangs and sends down a line which has his laundry on it, Laval climbs down it, but he hears a strange noise as he is going down, just as he is about to reach the CHI another wind storm arrives and because of the powerful gust, it sends Eris' jet tumbling towards her and Gorzan, they dodge it but the line is cut forcing Laval into the gorge with the CHI.

Crooler then sneaks into the Wolf Camp to try and steal their CHI but is caught by Worriz and the Wolves, but to her luck, as she is about to be tied up or thrown out of the Village again, the wind storm reaches the camp making it difficult for the Wolves to see, Crooler then takes this opportunity to sneak around them and steal the Wolf Pack Tracker with the CHI on it, Worriz then orders his tribe to go after her. Back at the Fangs, Laval is inside the Gorge of Eternal Depth and is holding on by Gorzan's underwear, scared that he might fall, he screams for help, Laval then flashes back to when Cragger asked for some CHI to help his parents, this, along with his strength gets him pulled to safety and he is climbing back up the gorge with the bag of CHI while he is powered up. Eris and Gorzan are watching for Laval but don't see him in the gorge, Gorzan thinks he fell in and starts crying that his friend might be gone, but Eris doesn't want to believe, just then as the storm subsides, Laval makes it out of the gorge with the CHI and gives Gorzan back his now stretched underpants, he is bummed but also happy that Laval is okay, Eris is glad too. Crooler is then being chased by the Wolves near the Grand Archway and are on her tall, is desperation, she fires a Croc Flare to get help, Cragger, Crawley and Crug see it but ask who sent it off, Cragger then picks up the two small Persuader Plants and accidentally uses one on himself and thus orders to attack whoever is over there.

The Wolves are still chasing Crooler when Worriz tells her to stop, she does but it causes another Wolf Pack Tracker to crash into her knocking him out and she then backs up and drive away, at the Crocodile Swamp, Cragger is gathering his forces when Crooler arrives with the Wolves' CHI, Cragger is pleased but trouble comes when the Wolves arrive and drag Crooler back with them with the CHI, they then throw her out and they take the CHI and drive away when Cragger promising Crooler to make them stop throwing her. Laval, Eris and Gorzan are walking through the pathway to the Grand Archway when Eglor arrives to pick them up with Eris saying she didn't want to fly again while the wind storms were happening, Laval and Eris hop on and ride out when they meet up with Worriz and the Wolves in the forest, the two groups notice each other's CHI, Worriz then claims that with the CHI they are the most powerful tribe in Chima, but Laval tells him that it's not about power, it's about rules and says that the earthquakes and wind storms are happening because they are misusing the CHI they have. Worriz then tells Laval to give them his CHI but he refuses as he just got it back from the Gorge of Eternal Depth, but the Wolves then surround Laval and are about to take their CHI when Eglor clears a path for them, then the Eagle Twin Bike turns into a makeshift jet and blasts at Wilhurt and Winzar allowing Eglor to drive past them.

They then are driving towards a cliff which Laval points out, but Eglor tells him to hold on as he ejects the cockpit from the Ultra Striker and it turns into a mini jet, but Worriz orders to fire at them with their turrets, as they are about to fire, Cragger and his Croocdiles show up. Cragger then uses a CHI orb and attacks while the Wolves also use the CHI they have, Laval then sees that the Crocs are in trouble and wants to help them but Eris reminds him that they need to get the CHI they have to the other tribes first, Cragger is pulling through but is surrounded by the Wolves. Laval, Eris and the Gorillas are celebrating in their adventure of delivering CHI to everyone but Laval is still upset for not helping the Crocs, Eris tries to make it positive by saying that both the Crocs and the Wolves have been jerks lately and instead of thinking of it as a battle, she thinks of it as a rebalance in Chima, Laval then asks what else is positive, Eris answers by pulling Laval in for a dance and they, along with the Gorillas party for a good long while.
