A Very Slippery Slope is the tenth episode of the third season of Legends of Chima and the 36th episode overall.

Plot

Plot[]

The Lions are currently making repairs to the Lion Temple after it was attacked by the Ice Hunters, meanwhile in the Map Room, Laval is going over his plan to defeat the Hunters with the other tribes and suggests the Grand Archway canyon is a great place to trap them and had the Beavers build him a thing to where when the canyon freezes over, the Hunters will fall down into it causing the Hunter Glacier to crash and give Laval the opportunity he needs to free everyone inside the Trophy Room including his father, the Crocodiles, Bears and anyone else frozen, however not everyone agrees as Worriz thinks this is just another vision from Eris but she says her visions haven't been wrong yet, they also mention saving Li'Ella there too and that is when Tormak comes into the room and agrees to do the plan with them and plans to show the Hunters his fatherly rage for taking his daughter which Cragger agrees they should do to for their families. Everyone heads to their vehicles and Worriz suggests he can make the diversion to get the Hunters' attention and that all he needs is someone to operate the rear cannon, Gorzan wants to do it since he never got to partake in anything with Worriz before but he tries to get someone else to go with him instead, however, he ultimately decides to let Gorzan go with him. As they are making their way to the Glacier, Gorzan keeps talking about how awesome it is that he is working alongside Worriz for once but Worriz isn't so pleased and says that because of who the Gorillas are, that this was why he wanted someone else to go with him as they aren't mellow and chill like the Gorillas are to which Gorzan called Worriz just a dude as they continue their ride to the Glacier.

The Hunter Glacier is currently moving across Chima where inside the Trophy Room, Li'Ella is chained up against the Ice wall and Fangar reveals his plans to marry her and make her his queen, Maula then comes in and tells Fangar that the marriage containment carriage has arrived and is ready to him and Li'Ella, however, Li'Ella rejects the idea of marrying Fangar but Maula says she doesn't have a choice as any King must have a Queen and she just so happened to be the one chosen. Meanwhile, the tribes are making their way to the Grand Archway when Eris asks Laval if it was a good idea to bring Flinx along despite her telling him to watch over the child but Flinx says Li'Ella is like a sister to him, she cared for him all years ago and she still does now and wants to return the favor to which Eris allows and they arrive at the Grand Archway waiting for the Hunter Glacier to fall. Strainor tells Sykor to give him his telescope so he can scout the area but Sykor eats the item forcing Strainor to pull it from his mouth, Sykor then knocks him away and that is when Strainor realizes something is off about the pathway and falls through the ground revealing the Beavers built something to collapse the Grand Archway, Fangar meanwhile is talking to his frozen victims and tells them to rest for his wedding but just then, the Hunter Glacier makes it way onto the Grand Archway and the area starts collapsing with the frozen victims sliding out of place, Stranior and Sykor are thrown from one of the towers where Sykor coughs up Gorzan's sock and VoomVoom and Vornon get stuck under another tower, Fangar then asks Stealthor what happened and he says the Beavers built this contraption causing them to delay their journey to the Lion City to destroy it and more importantly to plan for the wedding, Stealthor then says they can create more Ice to lift themselves out of the canyon so long as there are no distractions but then Gorzan and Worriz start attacking and Fire CHI up, Fangar then orders his troops to let the tribes feel their freeze and they start attacking back, Cragger then jokes that it's not so steep anymore but Laval tells them just to rescue their friends and family now and chants "FOR CHIMA!" as they head to the Trophy Room.

They are making their way from the slope as they dodge Ice plants and other obstacles, Cragger points out that Flinx can just melt the Ice, Tormak then says that as he melts more and more Ice, the stronger his heat gets, Laval asks if that is good and Tormak says it is so long as you are not around a massive thing of Ice like the Hunter Glacier which scares Laval. Gorzan and Worriz continue firing at the Ice Hunters and Fangar orders Mungus to deal with those two, they are able to back away but Gorzan is thrown off the Pack Tracker where he finds the sock he lost many months ago at The Fangs, he then jumps back on and they continue the fight. Laval and Cragger find the Trophy Room thanks to Plovar's map and see just how many people were frozen, Flinx then runs in and melts all the Ice with his heat but Laval warns him not to because of what Tormak said earlier, Flinx unfreezes Dom de la Woosh, Lagravis, Crominus, Crunket, Bladvic and the Bears and Beavers but also unfreeze Scorm and the Crawlers causing them to fight each other once more, Tormak tells Spinlyn to stand down but she just webs him up, Laval tells Flinx to not unfreeze everyone as most of these guys hate them, but Scorm feels more than hate for what Laval did to him and Laval says he is trying to rescue everyone, Scorm then gets angered about how Laval is always helping people and brings up the time he gave him the orb of CHI, Laval says that is what they do in Chima and Scorm then reveals that he was so mad by the kind gesture that he threw his CHI away which awoke the Ice Hunters and then they froze them to which Laval makes that comment that now this was his fault too, but Spinlyn breaks this up and just orders the Crawlers to attack Laval and the tribes. Gorzan and Worriz continue their fight with the Hunters and knock out Mottrot but they can thrown off their Pack Tracker by Mungus, meanwhile, Crominus takes out Scorm for messing with his wife and queen, Crunket takes out Spinlyn for messing with her husband and king and Lagravis takes out Braptor for messing with Chima and all three of them start fighting the Crawlers in their pent up aggression which Laval and Cragger say they have never seen their parents like this before and Eris asks if they should up but they say no and to let the elders do this one.

Gorzan and Worriz are about to be taken out by Mungus when Rogon, Rukus and Runk show up and offer Mungus to play in the snow with them, but Rukus said they are there to help attack the Hunter Glacier, but since the Croc Flare hasn't gone off yet they decide to play anyway and start throwing snowballs at each other. Meanwhile, Lagravis, Crominus and Crunket are still fighting the Crawlers and Cragger asks if there is a way to keep the bugs from bugging them and that is when Flinx decides to heat things up again but Laval warns him not to as it will melt all of the Ice but he does it anyway and sends the Crawlers into a hole but then Laval orders everyone to move it so they don't get trapped too, up above, Fangar feels the ground shaking and he sees the Crawlers along with some of the tribes escaping from the Trophy Room and Spinlyn catches the ones that are falling while the heroes are running from the other side, Laval asks if Li'Ella was there but Tormak says no and the two head back before the whole thing collapses, Cragger then fires his Croc Flare and the Lions, Eagles, Ravens and Rinona in the Rock Flinger come to help, Laval and Tormak then still call out for Li'Ella but Laval also realizes Flinx isn't there and asks Tormak if he saw him but he says he thought he was with the others, this freaks out Laval as he just lost him again. Fangar this runs to the now melting Trophy Room and is saddened his trophies are gone but then Flinx shows up, surprising the Saber-Tooth prince, he then tells Flinx that he would trade all his trophies if that meant he got the Phoenix child, Flinx fires back saying it looks like he has done that but Flinx isn't here for that but rather there for Li'Ella, Fangar says she is away getting prepared for their wedding and says he'd be happy to be Flinx along to the ceremony as his trophy, Flinx then shouts he will give him his trophy and starts melting the rest of the Hunter Glacier, Laval and Tormak then see this and run to the Trophy Room and Laval tells Flinx he will make the entire Hunter Glacier into a puddle if he doesn't stop, but Flinx says he is going to make a puddle, a puddle he will call his trophy but before he can finish, Laval and Tormak drag him away and run out of the fortress to safety and get on their Speedorz just before the Hunter Glacier collapsed and fell into the canyon.

Laval asks Flinx what he was thinking almost melting the Hunter Glacier with all of them in it, Flinx says he saw his wings glowing thinking he found his spark and apologizes saying he got carried away trying to save them, Laval then asks if Flinx saw Li'Ella, but he tells him that he didn't but that is because Li'Ella is currently away getting ready for the wedding with Fangar which shocks Laval and Tormak, Laval then tells everyone to make it back to their homes and back to their Legend Beasts and then they've got a wedding to crash as they ride away from the Grand Archway.
