These are the relationships of one of the two Dragon Masters, Rontu.

Egalt[]
Egalt was Rontu's lover and life companion. They lived together for centuries, have had adventures and fought together. They formed together the great Dragon Masters. As Egalt was dying of his Wasting Sickness, Rontu felt very sad.
Rontu was reunited with her lover for a brief moment when her soul was sent to Spectral Lands, where he told her that she must continue fighting, that her mission was not over, and that his student needed her, which gave Rontu renewed hope and strength.

Sora[]
Sora was Rontu’s student. While Rontu trained her to do Spinjitzu, Sora didn’t believe that dragons can do Spinjitzu until Rontu gave her a demonstration which impressed her. After training with Rontu, Sora finally managed to perform a rudimentary spinjitzu tornado like Arin’s some weeks later. The girl and the dragoness like each other, as Rontu listened and was encouraging when Sora was feeling unsure of herself during her training, and Sora hugged her when they saw each other again in "For Whom the Bell Tolls".
Riyu[]
Riyu was another one of Rontu’s students. She tried to train Riyu to do Spinjitzu even though he couldn’t fly yet. After Egalt passed away, Riyu offered her to stay in the dragon stable under the Monastery of Spinjitzu what she finally accepted. One of the reasons was that she wanted to complete the training she had started giving Riyu. Rontu is a very encouraging mentor to Riyu, she always believe in him and thanks to her teaching, Riyu eventually mastered Spinjitzu.
When Riyu was dying in Umbrasilvis because of a Mutation Monster's poisoning, Rontu felt it while she was injured herself in Ninjago. She felt guilty for having let her student set off on the adventure, feeling she had failed in her role to protect him as his mentor. It was only after speaking to her beloved in the Spectral Lands that Rontu realized her mission was not over and that her student still needed her, so she fought to come back to life. When Riyu later returned safe and sound to the monastery in his new evolved form and showed his Spinjitzu tornado to his master, she applauded him, very proud.

The Dragons of Fallen Leaves is the dragon tribe that Rontu belong with.

When they first met, Rontu had faith in the Ninja that they can master Rising dragon technique to stop the Ritual of the Blood Moon. After the Blood Moon passed, she alongside Egalt, trained Zane to do Rising Dragon technique. After Thunderfang’s defeat, she gave the Ninja sad news that Egalt was dying due to his Wasting Sickness.
Wyldfyre[]
While Rontu didn’t train her, she wanted Wyldfyre to learn some patience due to her broken leg. Rontu also revealed to her that she is actually the elemental master of Heat and that Fire and Heat go together but are separate elements.

Forbidden Five[]
She alongside Egalt defeated the Forbidden Five and banished them to the Nether Space.
Ras[]
Rontu heard about Ras from the ninja several times, but when they first encountered each other they were like soldiers on a chessboard and Rontu was full of disgust that Ras had zero honor in his soul also surprised of his two source dragon icons. The two fought and Rontu tried really hard to stop Ras, but the latter is just as strong as the dragon because of the icons leaving Rontu injured.
