History
History[]
Prior to the series[]
While experimenting with the Yin Blade, Yang tested out its abilities of restoring life on a deceased bonsai tree. To his amazement, the blade's magical properties worked and the tree was restored to life!
Prior to Kai's monstrous journey[]
At some point in time, the Ninja acquired three different bonsai trees to decorate the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Of these three, one named Kichona Ki became a favorite of Kai's.
Kai's monstrous journey[]
As he trained Wyldfyre in the Monastery's training yard and attempted to get her to strike a target with her fireballs while blindfolded, Kai emphasized for her to be careful with the bonsai trees, for they were quite old. When Wyldfyre lost her temper after failing the exercise, she absentmindedly hurled a fireball to her side and destroyed Kichona Ki, much to Kai's horror.
