Ghost Attack! is the 11th issue of Ninjago: Legacy Magazine.

After their encounter with Morro within the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master, the Ninja have managed to save Lloyd and now sailed away aboard Destiny's Bounty. As they sail, the four original ninja briefly relish in the return of their Elemental Powers, arguing as to which one had the best power. This jovial moment however would be interrupted by cannon fire, forcing the ninja to scramble to look towards the horizon: they were being fired at by a Ghost ship!
As the ninja brace themselves for battle, Kai remarked that the ghosts didn't stand a chance with the powerful green ninja on their side! To everyone's surprise however, Lloyd instead ran off to the Bounty's galley in terror, leaving the other four ninja to deal with the attacking Ghost Warriors. Although the four fought valiantly against their attackers, the ghosts slowly began to gain the upper hand, forcing their way towards the cabin where Lloyd, Wu, Misako, and Nya stood. When Lloyd regained consciousness, he admitted to Wu that he was afraid of becoming possessed again and being forced to fight his friends again. When Lloyd lamented that he couldn't be brave, Wu answered by stating that bravery was not always about being unafraid; sometimes, bravery meant doing what was right even when you were afraid! Upon hearing his uncle's words of wisdom, Lloyd nodded and stepped back into the fight.
With Lloyd's help, the Ninja were able to push back the ghosts to the Bounty's deck, where Nya used her power over Water to destroy several of their members. Nevertheless, the threat still remained ever-present, for the Ghost General and their forces had managed to overwhelm the four ninja on the deck. Stepping into action, Lloyd struck the Ghost General with a blast of energy, hurtling them into the waves of the Endless Sea where they disintegrated upon contact. Rallying up his friends, Lloyd and the others performed Airjitzu to knock the remaining ghost warriors off their ship and into the waves below, leaving only the Ghost Captain, who had remained onboard the ghost ship all this time. The Captain however, would soon meet his own watery end, courtesy of Nya, who raised the waters surrounding his ship to capsize, throwing the undead captain overboard. With victory achieved, the ninja set sail towards Stiix for their final confrontation with Morro.

- The events of this comic are set after "Grave Danger," though its canonicity is dubious as the Ghost ship had clearly sunk at that time, and since the Ghost Warriors cannot touch water, they had no ability to repair it.
- The Ghost Captain uses the appearance of Ghoultar's Legacy minifigure.
- This issue was released on Star Wars Day.[1]
