Overview
The Earth Dragons are dragons from the Realm of Oni and Dragons. One of them was placed in the Caves of Despair by Master Wu to guard the Scythe of Quakes. Elemental Master of Earth, Cole rode on one to get back to Ninjago before the Liberation of Ninjago.
History

Years ago, Rocky was placed in the Caves of Despair by Master Wu to guard the Scythe of Quakes
Pilot episodes[]
After searching for the Scythe of Quakes, the ninja encountered and narrowly escaped from Rocky in the Caves of Despair. Later, they would befriend the dragon and call upon it for assistance in crossing over to the Underworld. Following the success of their mission, Rocky would officially join the ninja and reside in the Monastery of Spinjitzu's new dragon stables.
Rise of the Snakes[]
Rocky continued to serve as Cole's faithful steed before migrating to the Spirit Coves alongside the other three dragons. There, the four dragons merged into the Ultra Dragon.
Hunted[]
One earth dragon, Slab, was captured by the Dragon Hunters and served as their champion in their gladiatorial pits. Slab fought against the Stranded ninja when they were thrown to him, but he was defeated by them. Eventually, the same ninja would release Slab from his chains and he would escape from the Dragon Hunters.

- Flight - Like most dragons, Earth Dragons can flight using their wings.
- Dimensional Portal creation - Earth Dragons can create portals between Realms.
- Dimensional Travel - Using said portals, Earth Dragons can travel between realms.
- Earth - Earth Dragons has control over the elemental power of Earth.
- Geokinetic Breath - Earth Dragons can breathe and expel earth from their mouths.
- Oni Blood Detection - Like the other dragons, Earth Dragons can smell the blood of Oni and Oni hybrids.
