Slab is an Earth Dragon that was captured by the Dragon Hunters and was used to fight prisoners for the Hunters' entertainment. He escaped with the help of the Firstbourne and the ninja, and later brought back Cole to Ninjago.

History

History[]

Green and Gold (flashback)[]

When the Ultra Dragon arrived in the Realm of Oni and Dragons, it flew towards Firstbourne's nest with the Firstbourne, Stormbringer, Slab, a Fire Dragon, and a Wind Dragon.

Between Seasons[]

At some point Slab was captured by the Dragon Hunters and used by them for entertainment.

Hunted[]

Iron & Stone[]

He appears as part of the Dragon Hunters' entertainment, where he is put in the Pit with a prisoner, and he is expected to kill them. Zane, Kai, and Jay are thrown into the Pit, and Slab is put to fight them.

He is shown to chase them around the Pit for some time until Cole and Wu throw the ninja a chain to subdue him.

While on the ground, Slab is about to blast Jay with his Earth breath when Zane uses his Elemental Power of Ice to freeze Slab's head. This display causes the Hunters and Iron Baron to realize the ninja are Elemental Masters, not Oni as believed.

How to Build a Dragon[]

Slab was released from the Dead's End by Kai, along with the Wind and Fire Dragons, after the Firstbourne attacks and they escape to their mother.

Lessons for a Master[]

After Wu tames the Firstbourne, the dragon Matriarch summons Slab as well as a Fire Dragon, an Ice Dragon and Stormbringer in order for Cole and the other ninja to get back to Ninjago.

Green Destiny[]

Slab follows his fellow dragons through a portal that forms in the skies of Ninjago. It helps Cole save his friends from the Sons of Garmadon. Cole later flies on the dragon to evacuate the citizens and destroy the Colossus.

In the end, Slab and the other dragons return to their realm.

  • Flight - Like most dragons, Slab can flight using his wings.
  • Dimensional Portal Creation - Like other dragons, Slab can create portals to other Realms of Creation.
    • Dimensional Travel - Using said portals, Slab can travel to different realms.
  • Earth - As an Earth Dragon, Slab has control over the Earth elemental power.
    • Geokinetic Breath - He can breathe and expel earth from his mouth.
  • Oni Blood Detection - Like the other dragons, Slab can smell the blood of Oni hybrids.

  • In the LEGO form, Slab is smaller than Stormbringer while in the TV show, Slab is a bit bigger than Stormbringer.
  • Like Stormbringer with the Lightning Dragons, Slab's model is reused for the other Earth Dragons found in the Realm of Oni and Dragons.
  • Slab is the only Hunted dragon in LEGO form not to have its own set.
