The Curious Case of Agent Walker[]
After the Merge, Jay finds himself at the Administration with no memories of his past, and he accepts his new job as an agent. One day, he receives a message about a broken copier in the Department of Reassignment, and he accidentally fixes it using his Lightning powers. He has to hide the incident from his colleagues, and he waits for a lunch break to enter the confiscated items storage room to find a video game console.
For the next few weeks, Jay secretly plays video games in hopes of remembering his past. He also uses the power he discovered to hack into the cookie dispenser. After a while, he notices Roderick Allen and SsssSsss Underwood leading a Nindroid to somewhere. When one of the agents mentions Zane's name, a wave of electricity passes through Jay's body and strikes the Nindroid. The Nindroid jerks violently, hitting the agents, and the bureaucrat duo takes him away.
Jay feels guilty about what happened to Zane. Later, when he, Roderick and Underwood are standing in line for lunch, the agents mention and laugh at the captured Nindroid and say that it has been permanently locked in the package sorting center. For some reason, this conversation angers Jay, and he uses his power to short-circuit the lunch dispenser. The machine begins spewing its contents onto the two agents, and Jay walks away, reflecting on the first time he felt like himself.
Mechanical Madness[note 1][]
Zane in Motion[note 2][]
Zane arrives at the Dragon Masters' training plateau to learn the Rising Dragon technique. Egalt claims that the Nindroid cannot do it, but Rontu convinces him to be less pessimistic, as Zane has already mastered Spinjitzu. The Dragon Masters take the ninja to a wooden 8-shaped track and ask him to run through it without falling off the plateau. To outrun Rontu, who is competing with him, Zane calculates and freezes the track. Although he manages to reach the finish line, Rontu slips and falls, causing Egalt to declare the ninja's defeat.
The dragon decides to return to the basic exercise and removes the track, replacing it with three rings. Zane effortlessly jumps into the first two rings, spinning into a tornado with Spinjitzu. However, Egalt once again declares failure. The dragons explain to the nindroid that the Rising Dragon technique must be achieved through the sensitivity to the motion of the universe rather than calculations and algorithms.
In order to demonstrate the Ice Ninja what do they want from him, both masters take flight and demonstrate their joint movements. As he watches them, he recalls his fondness for ice skating in his youth. The ninja freezes a portion of the plateau, activates his skates, and begins skating, just as he did in the distant past. Egalt is greatly surprised by this development, and he must acknowledge that the Nindroid possesses the potential to learn the Rising Dragon. Meanwhile, Rontu steps onto the ice and invites her companion to join her on a skating session.
