Gorillas

"Hey, where'd you guys come from?"
This article is about a subject that is relevant to both the Ninjago and Legends of Chima franchises. Information may be more directed toward one theme than the other.

“Great. Either the gorillas or the sand are going to eat us. Which is worse?”

— Lloyd to Wu, Dark Island Trilogy, Part 1

Gorillas are a species of hominids that live in the Dark Island and Chima.

History

History[]

The Four Trials (non-canon)[]

Along with some other animals, a gorilla attacked Zane and Lloyd during one of Wu's trials.

Gorzan and his friends were enjoying a relaxing day before being interrupted by Morro and Lloyd, who fell into the area from a portal. He then glanced the others before Morro opened another portal, with both him and Lloyd falling in.

Dark Island Trilogy - Part 1[]

After arriving at the Dark Island, Lloyd took a banana from a tree, which really "upset" them, so they attacked. Getting trapped alongside Wu in a pool of quicksand during the chase, the two manage to escape using Airjitzu.
