- In the comic, Bear and Eagle Legend Beast are shown with the Heroes of Chima, meaning that it takes place between "The Eagle and the Bear" and "Tooth or Consequences". However, there are several inconsistencies that makes this comic non-canon:
- The Heroes of Chima shown to be set a camp, even though they should be in the Outland Base.
- Laval says that this is the third time this week Worriz creeped out of his tent, even though in the show, he leaves the base only ones after realizing that the Mother Tooth is really glowing.
- The Scorpion Cave is shown to be in a desert, even though it should be in a more greenery area like in the show.
