History[]

Background[]

Originally, Scorm was just an ordinary scorpion living in the Gorge of Eternal Depth until Chi dropped by Laval caused him and various other scorpions to evolve along with the spiders and bats, all of whom gained an intense hunger for more CHI. They captured Crominus and Crunket, who took them to the surface and showed them the source of CHI, Mount Cavora, but only so they could escape. Crunket got away with help of ShadoWind, but Crominus was recaptured.

Later, Scorm and the other Crawlers captured six of the Legend Beasts and his Scorpions took control of the Raven Legend Beast and Wolf Legend Beast while putting the Lion Legend Beast to a small area covered by water.

Shortly afterwards, Scorm had his forces block up the falls of Mount Cavora so that his forces could steal all the CHI, but they were interrupted by the Tribes of Chima.

Legends of Chima, Season 2[]

The Legend Thief[]

Scorm used the Raven Legend Beast to steal Golden Chi from Lavertus so that his minions could build a statue of the "Great Scorpion in the Sky", who Scorm believed threw the Chi down into the Gorge and bless the Crawlers. However, Scrug pointed out that Spinlyn believed that the Great Spider was the one who gave the Chi for the Crawlers, while Scutter raised doubts about whether the stolen Golden Chi should have been used for their fortresses instead of a statue. In response, Scorm punished both Scrug and Scutter by whipping them with his tail and insisted they focus on sculpting the Great Scorpion statue. Shortly after, Scutter informed Scorm of the Heroes of Chima and Lavertus entering the Scorpion Cave, prompting Scorm to order the Scorpions to destroy then. Razar then covered several Scorpions in gold paint, which caught the attention of the Raven Legend Beast, whose greed for gold overpowered Scorm's control, leading it to collect the painted Scorpions.

As Lavertus and Laval navigated the cave using their Speedorz, Razar rode the Raven Legend Beast as it gathered the Scorpions and dropped them at Scorm's feet. Scorm taunted the heroes, claiming they couldn't defeat him with mere paint, and stung the Raven Legend Beast with his venom. However, the beast's desire for gold quickly overcame the effects of the venom. Razar then noticed Scorm's armor and questioned if it was made of gold, which alerted the Raven Legend Beast to Scorm's presence. In a panic, Scorm tried to escape but was captured and thrown onto the pile of Scorpions. After Lavertus retrieved the Golden Chi, the four heroes managed to escape the cave, while the Raven Legend Beast continued to chase the remaining Scorpions, forcing the rest of the Scorpion Tribe to retreat. Following their defeat, Scorm demanded answers from General Scolder, who explained that the heroes were simply too fast to stop. Scorm realized that their victory was due to the Speedorz, and although his followers mentioned the heroes' paint and weapons, he punished them for speaking out of turn. Upon seeing Razar's Kleptor S2, Scorm tasted its wheels and identified it to be made of Tribe Stone. Understanding that the Crawlers could make their own Speedorz, he commanded his forces to gather the Spider and Bat Tribes and return to Mount Cavora to collect Tribe Stone for crafting wheels for their own Speedorz.

The Eagle and the Bear[]

Scorm devised a plan to buy time for his forces to construct their Speedorz by having them abduct the Bear Legend Beast and place it on one end of a large seesaw-like stone platform. On the opposite end, they positioned two eggs belonging to the Eagle Legend Beast, which successfully distracted the heroes long enough for the Crawlers to work on their project. Meanwhile, the Scorpions attempted to remove the armor from the Lion Legend Beast but were unsuccessful, much to Scorm's annoyance. Losing interest in the armor, Scorm confidently stated that the Lion Legend Beast would never escape and ordered his team to abandon it. Upon seeing Scolder presenting the first completed Speedor, Scrug described it as "pretty," but Scorm quickly dismissed that notion, asserting it represented power, speed, and domination.

The heroes found a way to save the animals, but Laval got separated and faced Scorm and the Crawlers. Scorm boasted about their new "speedy wheely thingys," which Laval corrects as Speedorz, prompting Scorm to feign familiarity with the term. Laval accused them of copying, but Scorm claimed their version was superior. Laval thought they'd outsmarted the enemy by rescuing two beasts, but Scorm revealed this was his plan all along, taunting Laval about who the "lame one" was now. Laval challenged Scorm to catch him, confusing him with the phrase about "eating his dust," before throwing dust in Scorm's face and speeding off. Scorm commanded the Crawlers to chase Laval, but he managed to escape, only to be confronted again. The Crawlers also captured Bladvic and the Bear Legend Beast while they slept, mockingly calling them "the snoozer and the loser." Just as Scorm prepared to crush them, Laval pulled out a Chi orb, but Scorm swiped it away. The orb landed near Bladvic, who plugged it in, and Laval urged him to use its power to free the Bear Legend Beast. Bladvic succeeded, but they both fell asleep again. Scorm initially thought the rescue had failed and mocked Laval, but the snoring from Bladvic and the Bear Legend Beast caused an avalanche, trapping Scorm and the Crawlers under rocks while the heroes escaped.

The Wolf Legend Beast was later moved to the Scorpion Cave, where Scorm shared his plan with Spinlyn to unite all the Crawlers and finally defeat the Heroes of Chima. Spinlyn was skeptical about the success of the strategy, but Scorm believed that the heroes would keep pursuing the missing Wolf and Lion Legend Beasts, along with Crominus.

Tooth or Consequences[]

Scorm controlled the Wolf Beast and captured Cragger and Worriz, then argued with Spinlyn over which one created them, leading Cragger to get an idea. After Laval, Eris, Gorzan, Rogon, Bladvic, and Razar invaded to rescue them, Scorm was shocked when Cragger told him that it was actually Laval who threw the CHI into the Gorge to keep Cragger from getting it. Scorm then blasted Laval into the cave with the Lion Beast with his Scorpion Stinger.

This May Sting a Bit[]

Scorm ordered the heroes of Chima to surrender, boasting that he possessed more soldiers, superior weaponry, and more Chi. The heroes refused, leading to a battle between the two sides. During the clash, Rogon fired at the ceiling of the Scorpion Cave, causing an avalanche of rocks to overwhelm the Crawlers. He then targeted the Great Scorpion statue. As Scorm rushed forward to hold the structure up, Laval arrived alongside the Lion Legend Beast. They landed heavily on top of the statue, causing it to collapse completely. Cragger challenged him to give up, but Scorm instead retaliated as he grabbed a Korrodor. He began firing at the cave ceiling, causing massive cave-ins that sealed one exit after another. Before he could destroy the final tunnel, Lavertus and Rinona arrived in the WindShadow and returned fire, throwing off Scorm's aim. Though Scorm continued his assault, Lavertus used his Golden Chi to conjure rock pillars, slowing the collapse long enough for the heroes to escape.

Scorm survived the cave collapse as he tried to crawl through a small opening. Furious, he vowed revenge against Laval, declaring that the battle was far from over and promising to find a way out before taking all of Chima's Chi. Laval calmly countered that Chi orbs are not everything, explaining that true Chi resides inside everyone. Scorm rudely cut him off and demanded the Chi. Laval complied, stating that all Scorm had to do was ask. Confused by the gesture, Scorm listened as Laval explained that sharing is simply what they do in Chima. Moments later, the rocks collapsed on Scorm, sealing him inside the cave.

Later, Scorm sulked through the Scorpion Cave, offended by Laval's sentimentality. He deemed the action "viciously kind," realizing that receiving the Chi orb as a gift hurt him far more than any physical weapon ever could. He blamed the very concept of Chi for his downfall, noting that if they had never had Chi, they would never have known what it felt like to be broken, defeated, and entirely alone. Forsaking the power source, he chucked the Chi orb down a dark chasm—inadvertently awakening a frozen Sir Fangar.

Fire Dreaming[]

Scutter and Scrug brought Scorm the remaining CHI salvaged by the Crawlers, suggesting it could be used for revenge against Chima. However, Scorm rejected the idea and commanded them to discard the CHI into the chasm to prevent anyone from finding it. Once the CHI was disposed of, Fangar used it to awaken his Hunters. Soon after, the Scorpions noticed a glow emanating from the chasm, which Scorm believed to be the CHI, prompting him to instruct his soldiers to seal the opening. Unfortunately, as they worked, Scolder, Scutter, and Scrug were frozen by the emerging Hunters. Realizing that the Hunters were a result of the discarded CHI, Scorm attempted to fight back with the Scorpion Stinger but was ultimately frozen as well.

Scorm was taken to the Hunter Glacier's trophy room alongside with the rest of the Crawlers by the Hunters, where they were displayed

Scorm appeared briefly in Sir Fangar's Trophy room.

A Very Slippery Slope[]

The Crawlers were unintentionally released by Flinx, who was liberating the prisoners frozen by Sir Fangar. Among those freed was Scorm, who immediately turned hostile and attacked Eris. As a fight erupted between the Crawlers and the Chima Tribes, Laval urgently tried to inform Flinx about the dangers posed by the Crawlers, emphasizing that the Crawlers hate the Tribes of Chima. Confronting Laval, Scorm vehemently rejected the idea of hate, claiming that the term was too kind to describe how he felt about him. During their confrontation, Laval attempted to explain their rescue mission, but Scorm derided Laval's noble intentions, recalling how Laval had once given him an orb of Chi instead of fighting him. Laval reiterated that this was the way of Chima, but Scorm revealed how in his rage, he had inadvertently shared all of his Chi with the Hunters, whom he disdainfully referred to as "ice freaks," leading to his own freezing at their hands and blaming Laval for the turn of events. As the Crawlers closed in on the tribes, Scorm was unexpectedly struck by King Crominus, who retaliated for Scorm's attack on Queen Crunket. This led to Scorm and his forces being overwhelmed by a fierce and coordinated assault from Lagravis, Crominus, and Crunket. Ultimately, Flinx unleashed a wave of heat that melted the glacier, sending the Crawlers tumbling down into the depths of the Grand Archway, but Spinlyn saved them.

Prior to Merry Chima Everyone![]

Following the Second Great Illumination, Scorm and the rest of the Crawlers have fully integrated with the Tribes of Chima.

During the celebrations, Scorm was iceskating with the rest of the inhabitants. Later, he witnessed Bats and Eagles decorating the tree Lagravis made by using the Golden Chi.
