The Eagle and the Bear

The Eagle and the Bear is the fourth episode of the second season of Legends of Chima and the 24th episode overall.

Plot

Plot[]

In the Scorpion Caves, the Crawlers are busy making their own Speedorz when Scolder rolls in and shows them their first finished Speedor, Scorm then asks how it's going with the Lion Legend Beast and they tell me they are trying to get the armor off but Scorm says to leave it on and to just simply trap the Legend Beast. Outside, the Eagle Legend Beast is flying around in the skies of the Outlands when she is spotted by Lavertus and the tribes, they see it's in pain and try to ask Eris what she thinks but she isn't there as she went outside and flew up to the Legend Beast herself asking what the problem was when the Beast points to the Bear Legend Beast perched on a tilting platform, the Eagle tells Eris that the Bear was captured by the Scorpions, Spiders and Bats and when she was distracted they also took her eggs, Eris expresses her grief when she touches the Eagle's beak and is powered up like she just used a CHI orb. She flies back to Lavertus' base and informs the others of what she saw, Laval suggests asking Bladvic about how they can rescue the Bear but he is sleeping to which Worriz starts to grow impatient and complains that all he ever wanted was to find his Legend Beast and he hasn't yet, but Bladvic's Beast is nearby and he is just sleeping, he then says it's not fair and storms out of the place planning to find his Legend Beast himself, Laval tries to bring him back but Gorzan tells him to give Worriz some time before he comes back.

Laval then whispers into Bladvic's ear waking him up and he mentions his Legend Beast and that they need to go into the secret garage, Lavertus overhears this and the tribes ask him about his secret garage to which he says he was gonna tell them sooner or later and when they get inside they find a new vehicle Lavertus calls the WindShadow which Eris points out that it's his racer name in reverse, he responds "Never thought of that, or did I?" annoying Cragger. The tribes then set off to rescue the Bear Legend Beast when Bladvic is still sleeping, Laval wakes him up and tells him to keep the platform balanced and makes sure he understand to which Bladvic says he does and they get to work, they are able to get the first Eagle egg off the platform and Laval jumps down to help with the second egg but also keep the platform steady, they grab the second egg and Bladvic jumps onto the platform, helping Laval steady it but it appears it can't hold them both on one side as it starts to crumble, they then start running back and forth trying to balance the platform but nothing is working until Laval tells them to do it slowly until they are steady. Eris then asks if they are okay and Laval says they'll be fine and tells her to take the eggs back to their base while he and Bladvic try to get the Legend Beast so Lavertus can pick them up and head back as well. However, as they are about to add more weight, the Bear rolls over in its sleep causing the platform to tilt and makes Laval lose his balance, Bladvic then says there is only one thing to do and he goes to sleep which confuses Laval as the platform is still unbalanced.

Rinona walks up behind Worriz and she sees the Mother Tooth and asks him about it to which he tells her to mind her own business and she knows it belonged to the Wolf Legend Beast and says it must be important to the Wolves, Worriz then attaches the tooth onto the periscope, Rinona tries to help but she just ends up smacking him with the periscope over and over and he falls off the roof. Meanwhile, Laval is still trying to figure out how to get the Bear Legend Beast down now that Bladvic has fallen asleep, the platform is about to tilt over when Gorzan and the Gorilla Legend Beast show up and stabilize the platform, Gorzan then tells Laval to get the Bear moving to which he says Bladvic is working on that, sort of. Then, in his dream, he finds the Bear and tells him he needs him to start moving so they can move him, the Bear in the real world then moves to the middle and Lavertus comes down to give Laval some rope to tie the Bear but because Lavertus was whispering that accidentally wakes up Bladvic, causing the Bear to go back to the edge of the platform, but because of the extra weight on one side, the platform falls off the pillar it was on, sending Laval, Bladvic and the Bear Legend Beast down to the ground. Rogon on his Rhino Legend Beast, then smahses into a pile of rocks blocking the water passage allowing the water to flow and catch Laval and the others, but because he can't swim, Cragger comes to pick up Laval.

Worriz and Rinona are then still working on the periscope and Rinona asks how it works, but Worriz doesn't know and that all he does know is that the Mother Tooth will light the way whenever they need it, he thinks by putting the tooth on the periscope it will point him to where the Wolf Legend Beast is but Rinona isn't too sure it will work. Laval then thanks Cragger for pulling him out and says that not too long ago he would've just left Laval in the water, but Cragger apologizing for doing that and Laval says it's fine since even after all of that, they are still best friends and Cragger points out he wished he taught Laval how to swim, but Laval says it's impossible for him to swim, Cragger then tells him it's like a friendship, don't fight it, let it embrace you, celebrate you, lift you up, and it will take you where you want to go without struggle and he then says even Laval can't live without water or friendship. Cragger then asks Gorzan if he needs help getting down, Gorzan tells him he is the dude and slides down the pillar, bounces off the Crocodile Legend Beast and jumps from rock to rock, making it to dry land. However, they are about to fly away when the Bats ambush them, Lavertus drops Laval's Speedor for him and he goes riding on it, he tells Bladvic and the others to return to the base as he goes to help Lavertus but is stopped when he sees the Scorpions, Spiders and Bats. Scorm then tells Laval to not look so surprised now that they have Speedorz of their own now, Laval tells them they are copycats and tells them that if they are there for the Eagle and Bear Legend Beasts then they are too late as they already rescued them but Scorm says he was counting on it, he says he did that to keep the tribes busy while they were building their Speedorz, Laval then rides away with Scorm ordering his troops after him but they are unsuccessful as they keep crashing and getting thrown off their Speedorz, Laval then leads them to the Predator Plant fields and is able to narrowly dodge their webs but just as they get out of the fields, two Scorpions show up and are able to slow down Laval by bumping into him, but he counters them when they try to trip him by their stringers and he gets away, he thinks he won against the Crawlers but is then surrounded by Scorm and the other Crawlers, Laval then sees they also captured Bladvic and the Bear Legend Beast after they took a nap. Laval is then about to use a CHI orb when Scorm knocks it out of his hands but it lands near Bladvic, he picks it up and plugs it in and is able to take out a few Crawlers but then falls asleep again, however, as Scorm is about to take out the three heroes, rocks start falling from the hillside as Bladvic and the Bear are snoring loudly causing the ground to shake and thus cueing the rocks to roll down and take out the Crawlers, saving him, the Legend Beast and Laval.

Laval and Bladvic then return to Lavertus' base and reunites the Bear with the other Legend Beasts, however Worriz seems to be losing faith in the Mother Tooth as he hoped it would help lead him to his Wolf Legend Beast, but Laval comforts him saying they haven't found his Lion Legend Beast either but they are the only two Legend Beasts left and promises Worriz they will find them but Cragger buts in to also mention his father Crominus too. The Wolf Legend Beast is currently being held by the Crawlers at the Scorpion Caves and Plovar comes in to peck Spinlyn's teeth, Scorm then says they must gather their forces if they are going to crush their enemies, Spinlyn if the tribes will even come, but Scorm assures her they will since they have the Wolf and Lion Legend Beasts but also King Crominus, who demands they let him out and warms them the Crocodiles will attack them if they don't release him to which Scorm replies back that he is counting on that.
