History
History[]
Legends of Chima, Season 1[]
Laval and his friends gathered at the Forever Rock the night after the Battle for Chima happened, vowing to put aside their differences and rescue the remaining Legend Beasts and Crominus in the Outlands. Thus, forming the Heroes of Chima.
Legends of Chima, Season 2[]
The Heroes of Chima set out on their quest to find the Legend Beasts and Crominus, venturing into the Outlands. Before their departure, they received supplies for their journey, with Crunket providing Cragger with Crominus's Scale Ripper and Lagravis giving Laval a shield along with three Chi orbs. Skinnet contributed "Skunk in a Can," which Laval used to clear the Predator Plants obstructing their route. After encountering the Bat Tribe and realising they were the "Black Cloud", Rogon led the heroes to the Outland Base, where they met Lavertus, an exiled lion who had a map that showed where the Legend Beasts were trapped and equipped the heroes with armor to protect them from the danger of the Outlands.
Following Lavertus' map, the group journeyed to Spider Canyon, where they found the Gorilla and Rhino Legend Beasts captured by the Spider Tribe. The presence of the Rhino Legend Beast heightened Rogon's intelligence, enabling him to create a complex plan to free it. During the mission, they also discovered Rinona, who had secretly stowed away to watch over Rogon. While Laval, Cragger, Worriz, and Gorzan distracted the Spiders, Gorzan successfully rescued the Gorilla Legend Beast. Rogon then used his giant abacus and nearby rocks to dismantle the barrier holding the Rhino Beast captive. Ultimately, they freed both Legend Beasts, and Lavertus would start armouring up the rest of the Legend Beasts, having already done it for the Lion Legend Beast a while back.
The following day, Lavertus found his Golden Chi missing and accused the heroes of theft, threatening to expel them from his base unless they returned what was lost. While the heroes were innocent, they grew suspicious of Lavertus, who turned out to be the famed Speedor racer ShadoWind. Laval proposed a race, stating that if they won, Lavertus would assist them in rescuing the remaining Legend Beasts. The heroes worked together, taking turns driving the Speedor. Their collaboration led to Laval's victory over Lavertus, compelling the exiled lion to keep his promise. With Lavertus joining, the heroes faced the Scorpion Tribe and learned that the Scorpions were controlling the Raven Legend Beast to steal Golden Chi. Painting the Scorpions in gold, Razar used the Raven's greed for gold to free it from the Scorpions' venomous control. Together, Laval, Lavertus, and Razar reclaimed the stolen Golden Chi and liberated the Raven Beast. However, Razar inadvertently left his Speedor in the Scorpion Cave, inspiring and prompting the Crawlers to create their own Speedorz from Tribe Stones stolen from future raids on Mount Cavora.
To buy time for their construction, the Crawlers captured the Bear Legend Beast and took the Eagle Legend Beast's eggs, setting up a seesaw trap that placed them on opposite ends. This diversion forced the heroes to devise a plan to rescue both the Bear and the eggs.
Whilst Worriz would stay behind trying to find the Wolf Legend Beast using the Mother Tooth, the Eagle and Raven Legend Beasts would claim the egg while Laval tried to maintain the balance to keep the Bear Legend Beast safe. Bladvic would prove instrumental as the Bear Tribe's sleeping allowed the young bear to guide the Bear Legend Beast. Unfortunately, despite Gorzan and the Gorilla Legend Beast's assistance, the seesaw trap became unstable and collapsed, leading Laval, Bladvic and the Bear Legend Beast tp lummet down, being saved by Rogon and the Rhino Legend Beast flooding the ground, making a safer landing. They would encounter the Crawlers and their new Speedorz during their escape, with Bladvic using a Chi-powered snore to cause an avalanche of rocks, blocking the Crawlers from pursuing.
When they returned, Worriz and Laval lamented their respective Tribe's Legend Beasts absence, with Cragger lamenting the absence of his father. Unbeknownst to the Heroes of Chima, the Mother Tooth started to glow, indicating the Wolf Legend Beast was nearby. Worriz woke up to see it glowing, using it to find the Wolf Legend Beast, with Cragger following behind him and seeing the Crocodile King in a cage being pulled by the controlled Legend Beast. They tried to stealthily rescue them, only for Plovar to show up and accidentally reveal their location, with them all being captured, but allowing Cragger and his dad to reunite, though Crominus showed disbelief and anger that Lavertus was helping rescue the Legend Beasts, indicating at prior history with the exiled Lion.
When the morning came, Lavertus revealed upgraded weapons for the remaining Heroes of Chima as well as new ones for the fight to rescue their missing team members, the most revered being a Royal Valious Sword, only held by royal members of the Lion Tribe, with Laval confused as to Lavertus owned one, but the exiled Lion encouraged them to rescue their allies, with him and Rhinona staying behind whilst the heroes went on their rescue mission, using the Chi provided from an explosion nearby the Scorpion Cave. The Crawlers, led by Scorn, powered up with Chi too, leading to a massive battle inside the base. Plovar was called away by Queen Spinlyn to assist her in her looks, only for the bird to lure and trap her in mud, calling out to her minion Spiders for help, leading them getting stuck in the mud too. Seeing an opportunity, Worriz put the Mother Tooth back into the mouth of the Wolf Legend Beast, liberating it from the Crawlers' mind control and busting the heroes out of the cage, leaving the Lion Legend Beast as the last that needed rescuing. Cragger then had the idea of revealing to the Crawlers that Laval dropping the Crocodiles' Chi in the Gorge of Eternal Depth created them all, causing friction between Laval and his team. The Lion Prince then rushed to his Tribe's Legend Beast, with the Crawlers firing mercilessly at him.
Seeing his mistake, Cragger, with the help of Eris, convinced the heroes to band together to rescue the two Lions since Laval helped rescue every other Legend Beast. Laval woke up in the area where the Lion Legend Beast was. It had been trapped after causing disruptions during the Crawlers' construction of their Speedorz, with water being used to create a moat. The Lion Prince offered to use his last Chi orb to save it, only for his Legend Beast to argue against it, telling Laval to use the Chi within himself. Laval then remembered the advice Cragger gave him after rescuing the Bear Legend Beast: "Water is like friendship. It only pulls you down when you fight it." The Lion Prince then used that advice to safely swim for the first time, guiding his Tribe's Legend Beast to safety.
Lavertus revealed his animosity towards Crominus, and Rhinona coaxed the exiled Lion to reveal that he was once in love with Crunket, but that Crominus used a Persuader Plant to make Lavertus steal Chi from the Lion Temple's Chi pool, causing his exile with Crominus getting Crunket and the tribe, leaving Lavertus with only Crunket's scarf. Rhinona successfully convinced him to put his differences aside to use the stored Golden Chi to help the Heroes of Chima, with her piloting the WindShadow into the Crawlers' base just as the villains began firing down rocks to block off all forms of escape, with Lavertus using the Golden Chi to hold the roof up. During this, it was then that Rhinona was revealed to be Rogon's sister, causing Eris to regret being jealous that Rhinona would steal Rogon from her. Lavertus went up to Crominus to gift him Crunket's scarf and his final message before sacrificing himself for Chima and his former lover, believed to have been crushed by the downpour of rocks. His sacrifice allowed the Heroes of Chima, the Legend Beasts and Crominus to successfully escape, with the Lion Prince gifting the Scorpion King his last Chi orb, telling him to "Use it well, use it wisely" before departing to leave the Outlands and quickly armour up the Wolf Legend Beast.
Upon seeing the Heroes of Chima return triumphant, Lagravis gave a roar to alert the other Tribes that the Legend Beasts and their friends had returned, with Lagravis and Laval reuniting and Crominus with Crunket. Crominus apologised to Lagravis who heartily accepted, admitting that Lavertus was instrumental to their success. Lagravis was surprised, with Laval remembering that, just before the cave-in, Lavertus told him to greet his brother, with Gorzan making the connection that Laval's uncle was the greatest Speedorz racer of all time. Crominus also revealed that his son, Cragger, "one of Chima's greatest heroes would've never been born" had he not manipulated Lavertus, gifting his wife her old scaf and the Lion's final wish: to have Crunket safe. The Crocodile King pleaded for forgiveness, vowing that the restoration of Mount Cavora's falls would be done in the fallen Lion's honour.
The Heroes of Chima and Lagravis gathered the Legend Beasts together, where Laval expressed that he finally understood the Great Story's purpose thanks to the Lion Legend Beast: it was all about everyone's inner Chi, and that they were shown it when it was needed the most. They then watched as the Legend Beasts than give a mighty roar before rushing towards Mount Cavora, seeing them glow a bright blue before they ascended to the floating mountain, making the eyes of the animal Tribes' heads glow as the falls were unblocked, letting Chi flow once more into the Lion Temple's Sacred Pool. When Eris asked what happened to the Legend Beasts, all Laval could say was that, just as they did now, they'd return when Chima needed them most.
Scorn, feeling defeated, found the Lion Prince's gifted Chi useless, and with a cry of "No more Chi!", he dropped the orb further into the Gorge of Eternal Depth, landing at the coldest layer and awakening an ancient threat frozen down below.

Possession[]
In the Spiral Mountain, some of the Heroes of Chima were watching the sunset with their friends. However, their moment would be interrupted by Lloyd and Morro, who were transported to Chima by the Realm Crystal. Laval asked them where they would come from. However, before he can get an answer, Morro opened another portal with the Realm Crystal and passed through it with Lloyd.

- Eris, Razar and Worriz are the only ones of the Eight Heroes of Chima not to appear in "Curseworld, Part II" due to Worriz being absent in the reused footage from "Ravens vs Eagles" and Razar with Eris being replaced by Lloyd and Morro. Interestingly, Eris had a cameo in the other LEGO show, Nexo Knights.
- Rogon and Bladvic are the only ones of the Heroes of Chima who didn't get a minifigure in Season 1 set, with Bladvic being the only one not to have his Season 1 design be made into a minifigure.
