Metal Mayhem!

First Try![]

Not long after the Merge, Lloyd took his first walk at the Crossroads and was thinking about how the world can change and hoping that he will be able to see his friends again. However, when the old heroes walk in the streets, the new heroes: Arin and Sora were at the start of their adventure.

While walking on the Crossroads, Sora saw a new poster advertising the preliminary race for Mech Master 5000. Arin was not as excited about it, but Sora mentioned that it's because of this race they are here at the first place. When searching for parts for their new mech, Arin saw a broken mech which once belonged to Kai. The duo ultimately decided to buy it, despite Skalidor wringing the price very high.

With the new parts, Sora managed to complete the prototype of SA Mark 1 and with it, she and Arin participated in the preliminaries. The duo got a second place thanks to Arin catching Kreel's mech with his grappling hook at the last moment. After the race, Sora mentioned that she has got some ideas for the new version of a mech.

Errors[]

• The comic features Lloyd visiting the Crossroads for the first time before he reunited with any of the ninja, while in "The Merge: Part 2," it is revealed that he reunited with Kai a few weeks after the Merge, in the comic, Arin and Sora are already in their Season 1 appearance and it is implied that the comic takes place shortly before Season 1 since Sora mentions adding adjustments to the SA Mark 01.
  • It can be assumed that the two segments are set at at different points in time.
    • It can also be assumed that Lloyd was just thinking of the other lost ninja with the exception of Kai, as he is already sure that he is doing well.
  • However, it is also possible that Arin and Sora's story takes place before their first race, as create the SA Mark 01 in the comic, unintentionally linking the comic to Tales from the Merged Realms.
• A Ghost Warrior and an Anacondrai are seen in the Crossroads, while they are all (except for Pythor) supposed to be in the Departed Realm and therefor moved on after the Merge and the formation of the Spectral Lands.
• The Administration is referred as a realm in the ninja's facts page.
• Eris and a lion from Chima originally appeared in this comic, but were removed for unknown reasons.^[1]
• The Fire Mech is drawn as Cole's mech.
