A spectral battle is a Ninjago: Dragons Rising comic that was released in an issue of the LEGO Magazine.

Plot

Within the ghastly Spectral Lands, Thunderfang commands Rox to bring him more Souls, declaring that the Spectral Lands must grow! Elsewhere, Lloyd and Jay are riding aboard the latter's Mech Dragon in search of Arin's par ents. As they soar through the skies, a creepy fog rolls in, accompanied by strange music. The pair are then forced to land atop a nearby ledge as they are confronted by Rox and her army of invisible Spectral Dragonians!

Armed with the powerful Reveal Blade, Lloyd is able to expose the location of their spectral attackers and he and Jay are soon joined by Nya and Wyldfyre in combat against their ghostly foes. As they fight against the spectral hordes, Lloyd saves Wyldfyre from having her soul taken by one of the Dragonians. As the ninja prevail, Rox and her forces flee and the ninja celebrate their victory. However, Jay notes that they need to keep moving and Lloyd chimes in to exclaim that they have Arin's parents to find!
