Following the Ritual of the Blood Moon, the Ninja and Gandalaria say their goodbyes to Suetonius and the Writers of Destiny before going their separate ways. It would not be long though, before Gandalaria spotted something of interest: an abandoned spell, perhaps? Although the High Sorceress expressed an interest in restoring the spell to full power, the ninja were wary of the idea, especially after Cole noted it possessed a strong resemblance to the Dragon Cores. When Gandalaria insisted the golden orb was just a spell, Nya proposed an alternative solution: why not the ninja just accompany Gandalaria to her Magical storagehouse? However, since the ninja had many other things to do, they decided that only two of their members should go back with Gandalaria, with Cole and Zane being chosen as the lucky two due to their past experience at the storagehouse.
Assembling within the storagehouse, Gandalaria explained that she was now going to attempt to separate the spell from the rubble it was attached to. Just in case of disaster though, Zane stood by with his Ice powers activated, ready to freeze the spell should anything adverse occur. Unfortunately, no one had taken into account the affect Zane's chilling energies would have on the vials of liquid that were housed on the table beside him. As the liquids expanded and cracked through their containers, they released their fumes and shrunk the trio as they inhaled them! Fortunately, there was a cure; all they had to do was inhale the growth potion, which was only located...at the top of the highest shelf in the storagehouse. Oops.
Determined to be restored to normal, Cole immediately sprung into action, using Spinjitzu to boost himself all the way to the top shelf, fending off a spider in the process. However, Cole spun up too quickly and knocked the elixir's bottle off the shelf, shattering it on the ground but releasing its fumes all the same, restoring himself, Zane, and Gandalaria back to their normal heights. Just that moment, a second bottle fell, splashing out a pink liquid across several pieces of furniture in the storagehouse and bringing them to life. For Gandalaria, though, this wasn't the first time her furniture had been doused with a revitalizing potion, and she had already prepared a type of paste that would return them to their inert forms. After handing out stickers coated in the paste to Zane and Cole, the three rounded up the rogue furniture and returned them to stillness once more. As Cole plumped down into the armchair he had just stopped for a bit, he accidentally knocked over a pitcher filled with liquid, which then spilled into his hair. With a resigned sigh, Cole knew that this wasn't going to be good.
After his head was transformed into that of a llama's, Cole shouted angrily to Gandalaria that he's had enough of the weirdness of her storagehouse. Fortunately, Gandalaria was able to reverse Cole's transformation with a quick reversal spell (after two castings that is). With everything back to normal, the three were finally able to analyze the abandoned spell that Gandalaria had collected, discovering that it was a cooking spell! By casting it, the three now had a large feast set before them to enjoy, much to Cole's delight as he thought to himself that this spell was finally one to his taste!
