On an otherwise peaceful day, the bot rips through the skies above the Merged Realms, seeking the Ninja and their Temple Bounty. Unbeknownst to anyone at the time, the bot was secretly being controlled by Bleckt from his cell inside the City of Temples, determined to exact his revenge on the ninja for his imprisonment.

Elsewhere, the ninja are onboard the Temple Bounty with Wyldfyre at the helm. When Lloyd remarked to the others that he had the feeling Wyldfyre's flying hasn't improved at all, she responded by indignantly declaring that her skills have never needed improvement at all. In fact, her skills were so good that she could tell right now that they had engine problems, just as she Temple Bounty began to descend, scraping the side of a nearby mountain in the process. Fortunately, Jiro, Heatwave, and Zanth were able to help stabilize the ship along with Cole using his Elemental Power of Earth. Once the Temple Bounty was stabilized for the time being, Lloyd instructed the others that it was time to check on their engine problems.

As the ninja descended into the engine room, Lloyd took a moment to comment that the Temple Bounty was much larger than the old Destiny's Bounty. Not long after entering the engine room, Kai spotted something hiding amongst the room's machinery and knelt in to get a closer look. Unfortunately, Kai got too close to the moving gears and part of his gi was caught in it, spinning him around the many moving parts of the engine room before punting him face first back onto the ground. After some snarky commentary from Zane, Kai agreed to go around the machines instead of through them.

Following Kai's lead, the ninja discovered the saboteur robot dispatched by Bleckt, finding to their alarm that the robot was in the process of drilling holes into one of the Temple Bounty's fuel tanks! Seconds later, fuel began pouring out, forcing Lloyd to try and contain it with his power of Energy while the other ninja pursued the robot into the Temple Bounty's waterworks room. After spotting the robot, Kai immediately blasted it with Fire, but the robot was too fast and avoided the attack. Instead, Kai's fireball burst apart the wastewater pipe, forcing Nya to stay behind to deal with that while the others continued to pursue the robot.

Following their quarry into the ship's cargo hold, Kai, Zane, and Riyu worked together to corner and freeze the robot with Zane's Ice. Unfortunately, the robot still had other tricks up its sleeves and activated its self destruct mechanism. Luckily, Riyu, in an attempt to practice Spinjitzu, managed to knock the robot out of the ship's cargo hold to the ground below where it presumably met its destruction. As the ninja regrouped later once all repairs were completed, Lloyd lamented that they were unable to discover who had sent the robot. Nevertheless, the ninja resumed their journey homeward while Nya complimented Riyu on the improvements in his training.
