History
History[]
Background[]
Years ago, the Wolves fought each other to become the tribe's alpha male. To stop this Crominus showed them how to fight as one. As a token of their gratitude, a pack elder, Wakz, made and signed the Pledge of the Pack, which would force the Wolf Tribe to serve the Crocodile Tribe as long as it existed.
Foxtrot[]
Crooler took the Pledge of the Pack to Wolf Village and made a deal with the Wolves that she would go behind Cragger's back and threw the Pledge into the Gorge of Eternal Depth in exchange for the Wolves helping her disrupt the Speedorz race and steal all the Chi, which the Wolves agreed.
After Wolves gave Crooler half of the Chi they stole, Crooler threw the pledge to the gorge with the help of Worriz, with former saying that it's only fitting that the pledge rests with her father. Then, Worriz told Crooler that she did the right thing, despite Crooler not being to sure.
At the bottom of the Gorge of Eternal Depth, Crominus found the Pledge and took it with him.
Prior to Laval in Exile[]
Crominus and Crunket wrote "Make us proud, miracle baby." on the Pledge of the Pack. Later, the pledge ended up in the Outlands, where it was found by ShadoWind.
Laval in Exile[]
While Laval was trying to lose his track to Skinnet in the Fangs, he ran into the ShadoWind, who gave him a document. Skinnet pointed out how the document has the goo that can be only found in the Outlands, much to Laval's surprise, who questioned how Skinnet knows about the Outlands. After Skinnet explained him how the Outlands is not that if you have "the gift", Laval opened the document and realized it's the Pledge of the Pack. Seeing this, Plovar told Laval how he heard Crooler tossed the pledge to the Gorge of Eternal Depth. Laval questioned how it ended up in the Outlands, only for Plovar to say he doesn't know and leave Skinnet and Laval together as he goes to his very important appointment.
As Laval examined the document and realized someone must have written something on it while it was in the Outlands, Skinnet licked the strange goo on it, making him go crazy. Then, Laval took the pledge with him as he went to the Crocodile Swamp after hearing that Cragger capture Lagravis.
In the Crocodile Swamps, Skinnet wanted to lick the goo on the pledge again, only for Laval to stop him. However, after realizing that Skinnet can distract the guards by going crazy, Laval wanted Skinnter to lick all of the goo on the pledge. Later, when Crocodiles surrounded him, Laval offered to make a deal with them, showing the Pledge of the Pack to Cragger, much to his surprise. Then, explained Cragger how he got the Pledge of the Pack from the Gorge of Eternal Depth and this could mean that Cragger's survived. However, Cragger said Laval is saying nonsense, only for Laval to show in the new scribbling at the bottom of the pledge: "Make us proud, miracle baby." Then, Laval guessed that Cragger's parents found the Pledge of the Pack at the bottom of the gorge and send a message to Cragger to make him know that they are alive, saying that they could figure this out. However, because of the effect of the Fog of Destiny, Cragger said that Lavan can get his father back by giving the Pledge of the Pack but nothing more, while Laval said he can have hope and gave the Pledge of the Pack to Cragger.
Prior to Black Cloud[]
Plovar told Crug and Crawley how ShadoWind gave Laval the Pledge of the Pack while cleaning their teeth at the top of the Spiral Mountain.
Chima Falls[]
Realizing that Wolves don't want to fight, Cragger us the Pledge of the Pack against them, much to their surprise. Worriz pointed out how they threw that document into the Gorge of Eternal Depth and nothing escapes from the gorge, questioning how Cragger got the pledge back from the it, which Cragger said he is stronger than the gorge. Then, Cragger said how he will use the Pledge of the Pack to rule Chima and the Wolves must assist him.

During his dream, Cragger told his parents how they sent him a message with the Pledge of the Pack, saying this means they must be alive and there must be a way to rescue them.
While Cragger was talking about how ShadoWind leading the cloud is intriguing, Crug mentioned how ShadoWind was the one who gave Laval the Pledge of the Pack. Upon hearing this, Cragger got angry and questioned Crug that why he didn't tell him about this earlier, while Crawley explained how Plovar told them that ShadoWind gave the Pledge of the Pack to Laval, making Cragger even angrier.
At the top of the Spiral Mountain, Cragger demanded Plovar to tell him how ShadoWind got the Pledge of the Pack from his friends. However, because of Cragger flaying his feather the last time he saw him, Plovar wanted him to apologize first.
After encountering Laval and Eris, Cragger asked Laval why he wouldn't tell him that he got the Pledge of the Pack from the ShadoWind and how he would even get it. Laval told him that he doesn't know but he can ask ShadoWind himself.
