Foxtrot

Foxtrot is the tenth episode of the first season of Legends of Chima.

Plot

Plot[]

Laval is riding through the forest when ShadoWind appears and offers Laval to race him, Laval tries tricking him by saying he's not sure about racing him before speeding forward, but ShadoWind is able to catch up and they make their way to the cliffs when the Crocodiles attack blocking ShadoWind's path and separating him from Laval. Cragger then orders his troops to fire at ShadoWind but despite the tight space he is able to avoid their fire and ride up the cliff face to safety, Razar tries to fire an electric net at him but ShadoWind gets away before he can get caught and Cragger gets caught by the net instead, he then complains that they missed and that he is always the one getting trapped but Crooler tells him not to worry and to take a deep breath as she uses the Persuader Plant on him, but it causes him to walk back into the net and it seemingly falls off the cliff with him still trapped. Crooler then heads to the Wolf Village when she tries to convince the Wolves to help her sabotage the next Golden CHI race and then sneak into the Lion Temple to collect CHI from the Sacred Pool but Worriz then explains that he can't just help Crooler betray Cragger because years ago during their Alpha Troubles that Wolves were scavengers back then and always fought amongst each other to prove who is the Alpha male of their tribe, but Crooler's father, Crominus saved them and taught them to live and fight as one and for helping them, they gave him the Pledge of the Pack, a treaty that states they promise to assist the King of the Crocs whenever the time is ready and that is why they won't help Crooler betray Cragger since he is the King but Crooler promises to destroy the Pledge if the Wolves help them betray Cragger and they accept but not before calling on some help first.

Just outside the Lion Temple near the Golden CHI podium, a strange Fox named Furtivo is taking the racers' weapons and giving them to the wrong Speedorz, this causes a stir when Bezar, Eris, Gorzan and Rogon show up and are upset that their weapons are gone, Furtivo then tries to stir up drama by telling Bladvic that Gorzan is planning to plant banana skins all over the track to make it slippery and tells Gorzan that Bladvic is going to place honey all over the track to make it sticky, Crawley and Crug then tell Cragger that there is a rumor that the Beavers are fixing the ramps so they can win the race, Cragger then asks them where they heard that from when Crug replies saying they got it from a very "reliable" source. The racers are concerned thinking that the race is rigged and that everyone is cheating, Furtivo then tries to spread rumors to the Rhinos but Rogon says he thinks cheating will make the race more fun, but he is certainly busy carving himself and Eris with a love heart around them into a stone slab and Furtivo tells him that Eris has a crush on him which gets Rogon excited but Furtivo then tells him to keep it a secret and Rogon says he will crush anyone that tries to crush his crush as he put it, he then walks up to Eris trying to get her attention.

Lagravis then announces that the next monthly race for the Golden CHI is about to begin, the Grand Arena the reveals the track for the day is the Ruthless Race of Ramps, Cragger then says that you need a pair a of wings to win in the Race of Ramps. Rogon then winks at Eris still trying to keep his secret, but Laval sees the stone slab in his hands and tells Eris that Rogon may have a crush on her which Eris is flabbergasted about and says Laval doesn't know what he is talking about, Bladvic then orders the Bears to start bringing the Honey and Gorzan tells the Gorillas he needs banana skins. Then as the race is about to begin, Bladvic and Gorzan stare at each other angrily, Eris is looking awkwardly at Rogon who is still trying to flirt, Razar looks pleased and Laval gives a mean growl, Equila then starts the race and the racers are off, the Gorillas throw banana skins onto the track and slip up Bezar and Skinnet, Eris is then stirred back onto the course by Rogon but Razar then tries to knock Eris out but Rogon knocks him back and says to Eris to fly while calling her his love when Eris seemingly hears and is confused over. Furtivo then asks Worriz if he did good in messing with the other racers and Worriz says he is good and that his work is supreme and say he is glad they hired him and Furtivo says that confusion, mistrust and deception are his specialties but says his best has yet to come.

Laval then asks the race be fair for once Cragger then knocks him off course mocking him by saying if that was fair enough, Laval then loses control but is bumped back onto the track by ShadoWind, ShadoWind then joins the race and surpasses everyone else, at the same time the Bears are placing the Honey that Bladvic told them to bring, Cragger and Bezar slip and fall off their Speedorz due to the Honey and the other Beavers come to help fix Bezar's Speedor, the other tribes then start blaming each other for cheating and get into a fight over it while Worriz and Crooler are watching and Worriz praises the efforts of Furtivo for spreading the rumors that he did, with them distracted Worriz and Crooler can now break into the Lion Temple and steal all the Lions' CHI for themselves. ShadoWind and Laval make it past the loop de loop and Laval thanks ShadoWind for getting him through the path back there but Laval then speeds into a rock placed by Crawley and Crug and falls into a puddle, he realizes that ShadoWind saw it coming and asks him why he didn't warn Laval about the rock but ShadoWind doesn't answer and continues on with the race. The racers are having trouble getting through the track and Eris and Rogon see a rock in their way so Rogon uses a CHI orb and punches through the rock clearing a path for them, then ShadoWind crosses the finish line winning the race and earning another Golden CHI orb for himself.

Crooler and the Wolves then sneak into the Lion Temple and attempt to steal every CHI orb then can carry, they are able to fill up a few bags and then three Wolves use a CHI orb each and blast away a wall inside the Lion Temple, Cragger, Laval and Lagravis hear it, Cragger is goes first and Laval follows alongside Eris and Rogon, Cragger then reaches the Sacred Pool and goes to the destroyed wall to confront Crooler asking her what she's doing and what going on about destroying the Pledge of the Pack, she then tries to use the Persuader Plant of Cragger but he swats it away for once and then asks why whenever she tries to talk she waves the plant in his face, she says it's because she loves him but he doesn't believe it and Worriz says it's time to go but Cragger tells them that they aren't taking any CHI without him. Lagravis then orders the Lion Temple to close up and he Leonidas and Longtooth head inside. Cragger then tells Worriz that so long as the Pledge remains intact, Wolves will remain loyal to the Crocs but Worriz assures him that the Pledge is as good as gone and that they can bend the rules as they wish but Cragger says they always play loose with rules, Worriz then says that even despite that there are three of the Wolves and they are already CHI'd up, Cragger then tries to say that there is two of the Crocs but Crooler backs away leaving Cragger alone with Worriz and the two Wolves.

Worriz is about to destroy Cragger when Laval, Eris and Rogon arrive, Laval and Cragger take on Worriz while Wilhurt and Winzar take on Eris and Rogon, Laval and Cragger talk about how strange it is that they are fighting side by side for once and Cragger plays along saying he is doing it for Chima hiding the fact that he also plans to steal the CHI, Crooler then briefly fights Eris and Rogon comes to help his love. Laval and Cragger then defeat Wilhurt and Winzar by using a move they used to do when they were kids, Windra then comes in on her Helicopter and and shoots at Laval and Cragger and almost takes out Eris but Rogon jumps in the way of her blaster fire saving Eris, Windra then comes back to pick up Worriz and the CHI but Cragger latches on trying to get the CHI for himself but some of the CHI bags and Cragger himself are knocked off the Helicopter and falling to the ground, Laval sees this and picks up a CHI orb to catch Cragger without hurting himself and Crooler and the Wolves manage to get away with the CHI with Cragger feeling betrayed by his sister.

At the Fangs, Worriz gives Crooler and the Crocs half of the CHI they stole but also urges Crooler, who seems sad about betraying her brother, to uphold her part of the bargain, so Crooler then drops the Pledge of the Pack into the Gorge of Eternal Depth leaving it to rest with her deceased father and mother and frees the Wolves or their loyalty to the Crocodiles for the first time, Crooler is still upset but Worriz tells her she did the right thing, but she doesn't seem so sure as she destroyed her father's pledge and betrayed her brother, she tries to think of what she is feeling when Worriz says she is feeling victory, but Crooler despite not receiving the correct answer goes along with it anyway. Back at the Lion Temple the Crocs have come to pick up Cragger and Laval is upset with himself for not stopping Worriz and Crooler from taking the CHI, but Lagravis evokes to his son that he did the right thing in the end and it saved Cragger, but he wasn't so sure about Rogon's health, Eris and the Rhinos look over at what appears to be Rogon's death and he whispers to Rukus to tell him that he wants a kiss from Eris as it's his last wish before dying, Eris goes along with it despite not wanting to do it and kisses Rogon on the cheek which instantly gets him back up and is perfectly fine, Rogon is happy he received a kiss from Eris but she is not so pleased after being tricked by Rogon to do it. At the Fangs, the Pledge of the Pack reaches the bottom of the Gorge of Eternal Depth when a mysterious shadow appears and picks up the Pledge before disappearing back into the fog of the gorge.

  • When Cragger and Bezar get slipped up by the honey, Bezar in the long shot appears to be a regular Beaver with brown fur instead of his white fur.
