The Wolf Tribe is a tribe of humanoid wolves from Chima. They have close relations with the Fox Tribe, as they are described as "cousins".
History
History[]
Background[]
In the earliest days of Chima, the wolves lived as ordinary creatures on four legs. Among them was the Mother Wolf, who was said to be the mother of all wolves. Following the Great Illumination, Chi came to the land and changed the animals who drank it. They evolved into beings capable of speech and civilization. However, one animal from each of the eight main tribes did not take the Chi. Among these creatures was the Wolf Legend Beast. Before she disappeared into the Outlands, the Wolf Legend Beast left one of her fangs with the Wolf Tribe. This fang became the Mother Tooth, the most sacred relic of the Wolf Tribe.[2]
The Wolves went through a period known as the Alpha Troubles. During this era, the tribe consisted largely of scavengers who constantly fought among themselves to determine which wolf would become the alpha. Their internal conflicts prevented them from functioning effectively as a unified pack. This changed when King Crominus intervened. Crominus taught the tribe to live and fight together as one, allowing them to overcome their constant struggles for dominance. In gratitude for Crominus' help, the Wolves swore the Pledge of the Pack, promising to assist the reigning Crocodile King whenever called upon.[3]

The Wolves live in their camp, but they are a traveling tribe and they never stay in one place very long. Their convoys are made up of rugged battle vehicles. They sleep in tightly-packed piles so they can cram an unusual amount of warriors into their "home on wheels". So life is cramped and rather smelly!
Everyone in the pack is somebody's brother, sister, or cousin. So they will do anything for each other. They don't get along with other tribes and won't even sell them goods at the marketplace.
Trivia
Trivia[]
- During a full moon the wolf become more aggressive like see in LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey final level.
- During Hundred Year Moon drives the wolves into a dangerous feeding frenzy, causing them to revert to a primal hunting state and lose their intelligence temporarily.
- In side media, they are seen hunting rabbits.
- It has been stated many times throughout the TV series that the Wolves are the most dangerous and out of control tribe in Chima. Although, this been changed when the Ice Bears are introduced in episode 40.
- It is unknown if the tribe is connected to the Wolf Tribe that Nokt, Rox, and Zarkt hail from. However, since the Forbidden Five fought many of the tribes that would become the Hunters, that would mean that it would precede the Wolf Tribe in Chima, as it came into existence after the Great Illumination.
