Chima Falls

“It all started with a spark from above and an earthquake below. Mount Cavora rose up and changed us all. For a thousand ages, Mount Cavora was the heart of Chima, filling us with energy and life. Yet some creatures stayed pure to their animal selves and retreated into the Outlands. They say these Legend Beasts have incredible powers and will return one day when Chima needs them most. There is no doubt in my mind that one day is now. The heart of Chima beats no more.”

Chima Falls is the nineteenth episode of the first season of Legends of Chima.

Plot

Plot[]

The tribes of Chima are shooting at the Black Cloud and are able to chase it away but with a cost, the falls of Mount Cavora have run dry and Eglor makes an estimate that Chima will dry up and crumble in two days if the falls don't come back, Cragger then blames Laval and the Lions to destroying Chima but Laval thought he was saving Chima from the Black Cloud, Laval then brings up the Legend Beasts as they always come when Chima needs them most, but Cragger is able to convince some of the tribes to side with him so that the Lions can't hurt them anymore. Lagravis then orders to defend the city and the CHI and Cragger orders to attack the Lions but an earthquake occurs as Chima is now unbalanced after the falls dried up and the tribes head to safety. Lagravis then tells the Great Story again about how Mount Cavora rose from Chima and that the Legend Beasts are the most powerful beings in the world and will return when they are needed most which Lagravis has no doubt will be today.

Laval and Eris then go searching for the Legend Beasts as Laval hopes the Great Story is right and they come when they are needed, but they run into a problem as they can't get into the Outlands without being dragged in by the Predator Plants, Eris then tells Laval they saw a group of Wolves at the Crocodile Swamp. Cragger is rallying the Crocodiles and Wolves to attack the Lions, but Worriz defends the Lions by saying they all shot at the Black Cloud too but Cragger says it was Laval's idea, he also says that the Lions now control all the CHI in the Sacred Pool and if they storm it they can have the CHI for themselves but Worriz doesn't want to as they are all tired of fighting and just want peace, but Cragger pulls out the Pledge of the Pack, shocking the Wolves as it was last thrown into the Gorge of Eternal Depth and nothing usually escapes from there, Worriz asks Cragger how he did it but he says that nothing escapes his destiny and so long as he has the Pledge, the Wolves are forced to serve Cragger whether they like it or not.

At the Lion Temple, Lagravis is looking at the empty Sacred Pool feeling defeated, Laval and Eris come in to warn Lagravis that the Crocs and Wolves are planning another attack, but when they notice he is upset they ask him what's wrong and he says that all he believed in, the Legend Beasts, Mount Cavora, Chima itself, he fears may have all been a big lie, but Laval doesn't let that get him down and he tries to convince his dad to fight but nothing comes of it, he then orders Eris to fix Mount Cavora somehow. Eris heads to the Beaver Dam to get help from the Beavers to fix Mount Cavora, they of course help because they love fixing things and come up with a plan, they are going to go through the holes where the falls came out of and use their slingshot to get up there. Laval is at the Gorilla Forest to convince the Gorillas to help fight off the Crocs and Wolves, Gorzan and Grumlo aren't so sure but Laval convinces them that if they want to save Chima they need to work together, as they shake on it, Bezar crashes into a wall after using his slingshot.

The rest of the Beavers continue to slingshot their way up to Mount Cavora when Eris asks if this is even a good idea as they don't seem to have good eyesight, but when she tries to suggest something else, she accidentally trips and falls onto the slingshot herself and sending her away with one Beaver pointing out how ironic it was since she was the one that told them they had bad eyesight. Eris and some of the Beavers crash land into Laval, Bezar and Gorzan, Laval suggests they need to get help from the Rhinos and with Eris there, she can help as she has a relationship with Rogon which gets her flustered. However, Cragger is already at the Rhino Quarry and offers the Rhinos a pile of rocks if they help him defeat the Lions, they agree since they love rocks. The Beavers continue to build their way up to Mount Cavora but some are slingshotted again and Gorzan catches them. Laval and Eris make it to the Rhino Quarry where they are stopped by Rukus and Runk and are told to leave, Laval then gets Eris to try and charm Rogon so they can get the Rhinos to help them. Rogon appears and is happy to see Eris but tells Laval to leave as Cragger ordered him to, when Laval sees the rocks, he tries to tell Rogon that all rocks are free and that Cragger is tricking him, but Rogon knew he was going to say that and so he starts attacking Laval for Cragger which is upsetting Eris, she tells him she is his girlfriend and it gets him all excited, but when she realizes that Rogon won't listen she storms off angry with Rogon.

The Beavers are still trying to build up to Mount Cavora but keep failing first with a pole vault and then a spiral staircase, when Gorzan sees this, Bezar asks him if he has a better plan. Gorzan's plan is to stack up the Beavers on his shoulders and hopes that will get them up, but the plan fails when the Beavers' arms give out and everyone falls onto the Lion Temple balconies has being Beavers, they don't have very strong arms. Laval and Eris then head to the Bear Caves to get help from Bladvic and he agrees as he will do anything for the Lions, they then head to the Raven Town to get the Ravens to help but everyone is gone, Laval then leaves a message to them before leaving. The Beavers then worry that maybe Mount Cavora can't be fixed and hope there is another way with Lagravis, Longtooth and Leonidas looking down at them sadly.

Laval and Eris return to the Lion Temple when in the sky there notice the Ravens have come, Laval thinks they got his note but more Ravens show up and Eris points out that they appear to be in attack formation, the ground then starts rumbling as the Crocodiles, Wolves, Rhinos and the Ravens have shown up to fight, Laval then calls on the Legend Beasts once more hoping they are out there somewhere and will come to help when Chima needs them most.
