The Spiral Mountain is a large rock formation in Chima.
History

Background[]
Long time ago, the Phoenix has built many cities across Chima, with one of them being built on the Spiral Mountain. However, the city was eventually got destroyed and left in ruins by unknown means. Following the Great Illumination, one of the Fire Wings was hidden in the Spiral Mountain.
When Laval was a kid, Lagravis often took him to the Spiral Mountain to watch the sunset with him.
Season 1: Power of the Chi[]
The Joy Ride[]
Laval and Eris rode Lagravis' Lion Tank up the Spiral Mountain, much to their struggle, and watched the sunset. However, because of the Lion Talk rolling of the mountain and crashing into the forest below, they left the mountain to check on the Lion Tank.
Laval's Journey (non-canon)[]
Laval journeys to Spiral Mountain, where he finds Cragger and a machine with many chi orbs in it at once. After a battle between them, machine explodes, scattering chi droplets across all of Chima.
Ravens vs Eagles[]
While racing through the Chima, ShadoWind led the team to the Spiral Mountain, with Laval and Cragger going faster than anyone to catch up to him, only for him to somehow disappear. Then, Laval, Cragger and the others saw the beauty of the floating Mount Cavora and decided to relax here for the rest of the day. While relaxing, Laval and the other decide to vow to never fight again. Then, Laval and Cragger wished that Eris and Razar were also there, only for them to fell from the sky, much to their surprise. Then, Eris and Razar also joined their friends to relax with them.
Reunion Gone Wrong[]
To celebrating his true destiny, Skinnet went to the top of the Spiral Mountain with Plovar and started releasing odor, covering some places in Chima. While doing this, he accidentally released his odour to Plovar.
Laval in Exile[]
During his exile, Laval went to the Spiral Mountain to stay away from everyone alongside with Chip, the rock Rogon gave him, only for Skinnet to come, much to Laval's surprise. Skinnet explained Laval that he lives here since it's the only place in Chima where his skunk smell can't annoy anyone. However, Laval told Skinnet that the point of being exiled is living alone and decides to leave the mountain as Skinnet says they can roommates. Then,Plovar also joins them, causing Laval to flee from there with Chip as Plovar and Skinnet goes after him.
Prior to The Black Cloud[]
Plovar started a spa business at the top of the Spiral Mountain, with Crug and Crawley often coming his spa.
The Black Cloud[]
Upon hearing that Laval got the Pledge of the Pack from Plovar, Cragger went to the Spiral Mountain with Crug and Crawley, where they found Plovar relaxing. Cragger attempted to catch Plovar and demanded him to tell him how ShadoWing got the Pledge of the Pack from his parents. However, because Cragger flayed his feathers last time he saw him, Plovar wanted him to apologize, only for Cragger to get angrier and commanded Crug and Crawley to attack him. Plovar reminded both of them who does their cleaning, making Cragger apologize and ask Plovar can he take them to ShadoWind, only for Plovar to want Cragger serve him.
Season 3: Legend of the Fire Chi[]
The Artifact[]
To hold Sir Fangar and Li'Ella's wedding, Vardy choose the Spiral Mountain to organize to wedding. Despite Maula's worries about someone can see them, Vardy told her that the king and "queen" of the Hunters can't marry in some dark cave, saying this is a special moment. Then, Vardy listed what they need for the wedding, including that they great view. However, Maula said that she still thinks they are an easy target, only for Vardy to counter that by saying if she is the one who is planning the wedding. Then, Vardy asked about the flowers, which in response VoomVoom and Vornon told him that they could only find exploding ice plants. Despite Vardy telling them they would be just fine, Vornon's exploded and knocked him back, as Razar noticed the Hunters while flying with his Raider.
The Phoenix has Landed[]
As Ice Mammoth Stompers came to the Spiral Mountain and brought Li'Ella with them, the Hunters were doing the final preparations for the wedding. Then, Vardy announced that the wedding is starting and made some of the Mammoths play a wedding march, much to the other Hunter's annoyance, which caused Fangar to stop Vardy. Then, Eris arrived with her Fire Eagle Flyer and started blasting. Seeing this, the Hunters tried to stop Eris, only for the other heroes to came. Then, the heroes tied a rope around the leg of the Stompers, which caused the one of them to fall. After that, the heroes used more ropes to tie the legs of the Stomper that was holding Li'Ella, only for the Hunters to intervene. Eventually, Fangar used Glacior to cut the ropes and left with the Hunters as the Stomper fell down from the mountain and crashed. Thankfully, Li'Ella was able to hold onto the mountain with her sword, allowing Laval and Cragger to save him.
Wings of Fire[]
Thanks to their map, Cragger and Eris arrived at the Spiral Mountain to find the second Fire Wing. Despite Cragger claiming that he never saw a Fire Wing at this mountain, Eris said they need look with the "Phoenix eyes". Then, Eris looked for the wings by flying while Cragger checked the Spiral Mountain down. While looking for the wings, Eris started flying to channel the spirit of the Phoenix, causing the Spiral Mountain to sink slowly into the bottom as Cragger was still on it. Eris told him to think like Phoenix as Cragger got lost in the steam, much to Eris' worries. Thankfully, Cragger found the Fire Wing as the Spiral Mountain raised to the top. Then, Cragger explained Eris that he didn't even have to pretend to be a Phoenix since they are already the true guardians of Chima. Then, they left the Spiral Mountain to go the Crocodile Swamp and find the next Fire Wing.
The Heart of Cavora[]
The Spiral Mountain was seen during Laval's speech.

Spiral Mountain is located to the southeast of the Lion Temple. It is fairly close, about halfway between Mount Cavora and the Crocodile Swamp. Spiral Mountain is also very close to minor landmarks such as the Shadow Hills, Shredder Basin, and Everglow Falls.

Spiral Mountain is a large rock formation/mountain that has a spiral shaped road winding all the way up its sides. It was most likely carved out by one of the tribes. At the top, the view of the floating Mount Cavora can be seen.
