Crossed bones

Overview

The crossed bones[1] are a set of Bone Weapons. It serves as an emblem for the Greenbone Warriors' mechs and is featured on the helmets worn by their leaders. One of them was able to free the Bone King from his prison, when combined with the other Bone weapons.

History

Spiders of the Sea[]

The Crossed Bones were retrieved from a hidden temple located in a cave beneath the Endless Sea by the Greenbone Warriors.

Volcano Adventure[]

With all five Bone Weapons brought before him, the Crossed Bones were placed atop the Bone King's helmet. Alongside the other four weapons, the Bone King utilized the energies of the Crossed Bones to free himself from his prison.

Rise of the Bone King[]

The Crossed Bones continued to adorn the Bone King's helmet as he and his army began their attack on Ninjago City. When the ninja discovered that the weapons were the source of the Bone King's powers, they staged an ambush on the Bone King, during which Cole knocked the Crossed Bones from the King's helmet.

Once relieved of all five Bone Weapons, the Bone King and his army were transported back to their prison, leaving the Crossed Bones and the other weapons behind. Shortly afterwards, the Crossed Bones, alongside the other Bone Weapons, were destroyed by Cole.

Dragons Rising, Season 1[]

The Bone King wore a helmet that adorned the crossed bones.

Dragons Rising, Season 3[]

The Greenbone Leader donned a helmet adorned with the crossed bones. When he and his subordinates came to stop Ras from using the Forge of the Forgotten, they were defeated by him and stripped of their armor. Ras then took the helmet and kept it after leaving the Underworld, wearing it proudly along with the crossed bones.
