The CHI Jackers

The CHI Jackers is the eleventh episode of the first season of Legends of Chima.

Plot

Plot[]

In the forest, Bezar and two Beavers are being chased by the Wolves who are trying to steal their CHI, however Worriz in his Pack Tracker spins out and allows the three Beavers to get away by squeezing through a log to the other side of the river to where the Wolves can't follow. They then express how fortunate they were to not have their CHI stolen and are riding back home when they come across a broken down Speedor, being the Beavers they are they naturally try to fix it but Bezar tells them to not get distracted but even he can't resist a good fixing, the Wolves then sneak in to take the CHI they were after and get away before they are spotted. At the Lion Temple, Rogon, Rukus and Runk arrive to gather their CHI for the week but are surprised to not see anyone else or see the Market setup, but Laval and Lagravis informed them that those events have been cancelled after the Crooler and the Wolves broke in and stole CHI from the Sacred Pool but they do tell them that the weekly distribution of CHI to all tribes is still in effect but they are doing it one tribe at a time now instead of all of them being there, Rogon is disappointed as he was hoping to see Eris, Rukus then teases Rogon that he has a girlfriend, but that makes him question if he does have one and hopes Eris won't be upset if he does, Rukus and Runk get their CHI and slide down the Lion Temple bashing into a boulder together with Lagravis and Laval watching unasumed.

At the Crocodile Swamp, Cragger is still upset at Crooler for doing the CHI heist from before without him but she assures him she did it to surprise him but Cragger snaps back that she almost destroyed him, Crooler claims it was a hard choice and Cragger then tells her she made a deal with the Wolves and betrayed the Crocodiles to do it, she then asks him when was the last time that he successfully stole the Lions' CHI but he then says that's not the point and that she went behind his back where she says they never would've gotten the CHI without the Wolves help but Cragger then brings up what Laval did before Crooler left and asks her why they always have to attack the Lions instead of being their friends, she then tries to use the Persuader Plant again but it is too damaged from when Cragger knocked out of her hands and after overhearing that she needs to plant another one, Cragger has Crawley and Crug throw her out of the Fortress into the dirt so she can plant.

Rogon, Rukus and Runk are driving through the path to the Grand Archway when they are stopped by Worriz, he then shows them this invisible bridge he and Wilhurt built, they then coax them into walking across the bridge when they fall into the hole below and Worriz and Wilhurt steal the Rhinos' CHI leaving them alone in the hole. At the Lion Temple, Laval grows concerned as the Sacred Pool isn't generating enough CHI fast enough but Lagravis tells him that Mount Cavora is doing what it can to supply them with the CHI they need and to be patient and have faith, Laval then vows to never let another tribe into their temple when Razar appears behind him who has come to claim his weekly CHI for his tribe, he says he came in through the hole in the wall because of what the Wolves have been doing, to make sure the Wolves don't steal Razar's CHI the Lions escort him back home with his CHI to ensure that he won't lose it, the Winzar then lets out a Wolf call to his fellow Wolves and signals that the Lion Temple is empty and they are free to take the CHI from the Sacred Pool, but Lagravis who stayed behind comes to stop the Wolves but they get away on they vehicles so he and Lennox chase after them but the Wolves fire at them causing them to need the help of the Lion Tanks but they are with Laval and Razar at the Raven Town finishing their escort of Razar with his CHI.

Back at the Lion Temple an earthquake begins, Laval then returns and asks Lagravis if he is alright to which he says he is but then says that Chima is now out of balance since the Wolves took all the CHI and if a tribe as too much CHI for themselves it can cause disasters like the earthquakes, he then says that any defenders of the temple cannot leave until the CHI problem is fixed, Laval then asks how long that will take and Lagravis tells him it could take months and that's only if the Wolves don't attack again. Leonidas points out that without CHI they won't be able to power their vehicles or weapons and Laval asks if there is anything they can do to which Leonidas did not respond, just then, across the way in the trees, ShadoWind appears which Laval notices, ShadoWind then takes him to a clifftop where it's overlooking the Wolf Village and he pulls out the Golden Chi orb he won during the last Speedor race and gives it to Laval to help the Lions and then appears to be speeding through the Wolf Camp while a Wolf chases after him.

Laval then returns to the Lion Temple and shows the Golden CHI to Lagravis, he tells him that ShadoWind gave it to him and that he is distracting the Wolves for them, they then fix the wall but then Windra cries out which they hear and are aware that the Wolves are spying on them. The next morning the Lions are riding with Bladvic as he thanks them for traveling with him as the Wolves CHI jacked everyone in Chima, just as Laval is promising that they won't let that happen again, the Wolves use the CHI orbs they stole and begin attacking the Lions and the Bears, then fend off as much as they can and Laval then tells the Bears to get out of there, the Wolves then surround the Lions and continue to attack the Bears so Laval and Lagravis power up with the CHI they have and are able to fight the Wolves, Lagravis then orders a retreat but Laval rejects as he feels he can take them but he runs anyway, they hope that the Bears have a lead and lament that they can't protect all the tribes in Chima with all the CHI in the possession of the Wolves.

Worriz then tells Bladvic and Balkar that the Lions are running and they are wise not to fight but Bladvic and Balkar then say that they are wise but also sleepy so they fall onto the ground and go to sleep and say when they wake up everything will be better, the Wolves then ride away with their CHI. The Lions then return to their temple and Lagravis points out that they have never been that outmatched before, Laval then says it wasn't fair since they had all the CHI but then says that once the Sacred Pool fills back up they can match the Wolves but Lagravis says no as that CHI belongs to everyone in Chima but Laval then asks him if he wants to win or not, Lagravis then replies that he wants to maintain the peace and balance in Chima and intends to still give each tribe their CHI but he isn't sure how they can do that now, Laval then complains that they have all the power they need but aren't able to use it and says it stinks to be a Lion sometimes, but he turns it around saying that it's not all bad because the Wolves don't control the skies.

Laval is riding atop Eris' interceptor jet using this as a way to give each tribe their CHI, but Eris isn't too sure as it does seem to be dangerous but she let's it happen anyway, they deliver CHI to the Gorillas, Beavers, Rhinos and they are trying to get to the Bears but are attacked by the Wolves who are trying to prevent them from reaching the Bears. The Eagles eject from their jets and Laval goes down to fight Worriz who uses his turret to take down Laval but he tricks him into firing so he hits Wakz, the Eagles then swoop back around and pick up Laval but they get shot down by Windra in her Helicopter and Laval tells Eris to get the CHI to the Bears but she is pursued by Windra and the two of them have a dogfight in the sky and even pass through the canyon, Eris is able to defeat Windra but the Wolves shoot at Eris which causes the Bag of CHI she had to fall off her jet, but it lands where Bladvic and Balkar fell to sleep and they finally wake up to collect their CHI, Bladvic then tells Balkar that he told him that falling to sleep always works out for them.

Worriz then arrives to where Windra crashes and is crying over her but when the other Wolves notice he goes back to being tough and tells them they will get payback. At the Lion Temple, Lagravis tells Laval that he is proud of him and that he was ready to give up but Laval pulled through and got the job down, Laval admits his plan wasn't perfect but he was able to help Chima when it needed him, he then tells Lagravis that the Wolves can try all they want to steal the CHI but they will always fight back, Lagravis then asks for how long before giving he saddened expression again but Laval tells him what he told him earlier, to have a little faith for once and he thanks Laval for reminding to which Laval says anytime, the two then embrace each other as they watch the sunset.

  • This is the third and final time the Wolves used their helicopter. (Attack On Eagle Spire, Foxtrot and then this episode)
  • This is one of two instances where the Golden Chi dissipates after use, the other being Reunion Gone Wrong.

  • Worriz's crashed Speedor from "The Joy Ride" reappears.
  • ShadoWind's Golden Chi is specifically identified as the one from the last Speedor race, which occurred in the previous episode.

Errors[]

  • Balkar has Bladvic's voice at a lower pitch when he says "You don't need to tell us twice."
  • During the fight between the Lions and Wolves, specifically when Laval says “Easy there, fangface!”, Longtooth can be seen with a red glow around him, typically the glow used by the evil tribes after a Chi-up.
